- DirectorSimon CurtisStarsKevin CostnerMilo VentimigliaJackie MinnsThrough his bond with his owner, aspiring Formula One race car driver Denny, golden retriever Enzo learns that the techniques needed on the racetrack can also be used to successfully navigate the journey of life. All the films having a dog ending up that the dog died. This film is not an exception. And every film about dogs made me cry a lot. Their eyes are so sad. This film is sooooo meaningful and amazing. The plot and the meaning and the twist and the actors are all amazing. I loveeeeee it so much. Amanda Seyfried is gorgeous. Her beauty is stunning. Denny is handsome, too. And Enzo, my favorite. His eyes stirs lots of feelings in me. I love dogs, but watching films about dogs are too much to me. Those films always sad.
- DirectorDome KarukoskiStarsNicholas HoultLily CollinsColm MeaneyTolkien's novels were inspired by his mom's storytelling, falling in love with another orphan, Edith, forming a brotherhood with 3 other misfits at school, the trench war of WWI and later telling stories to his own kids.Hmmm I think the film is too long. But all the actors are very beautiful and their acting is great. I am impressed by the beauty of the four boys. They are super cute.
- DirectorTodd PhillipsStarsJoaquin PhoenixRobert De NiroZazie BeetzDuring the 1980s, a failed stand-up comedian is driven insane and turns to a life of crime and chaos in Gotham City while becoming an infamous psychopathic crime figure.Stunning!!! I have no words to describe the film and my feelings. This is really a masterpiece about music, acting, color, and everything. What I love the most is the color of it. Jesus christ!!!! The colors are spectacular. The combination and harmony of each of the scene are perfect. After finishing, I think I spend 10 mins to gave an applause for the film. What Joaquin Phoenix did there was also amazing. He was perfect in the role - no wonder he won an Oscar for this. The film has everything of a good film - especially the thrill when Joker kills people. If I was watching it in the cinema, I thought I would be scared so much like I was watching a horror movie. At first, I thought I would sympathize with Joker, but in the end, no. He is seriously insane. He is mad. I wouldn't watch it again. It will never give me the same feelings as the first time. I love it!!!! Magnificient!!!
- DirectorMartin ScorseseStarsRobert De NiroAl PacinoJoe PesciAn illustration of Frank Sheeran's life, from W.W.II veteran to hit-man for the Bufalino crime family and his alleged assassination of his close friend Jimmy Hoffa.Gosh, I understand nothing watching this film. So to me, it is damn boring. Just watch nearly a half and thats it. It is damn boring god.
- DirectorTom HooperStarsEddie RedmayneAlicia VikanderAmber HeardA fictitious love story loosely inspired by the lives of Danish artists Lili Elbe and Gerda Wegener. Lili and Gerda's marriage and work evolve as they navigate Lili's groundbreaking journey as a transgender pioneer.Goshhhhh everything is beautiful. The actors, the paintings, the colors of the film, the buildings. The film is soooooo gorgeous. The house of them in Denmark is like Van Gogh's color. Every scene is a magnificent picture. But Lili, well, I have to admit that (although I am not against LGBT at all) is sometimes (actually all the time) disgusting. Ewww I cant stand when he was a girl. Ewww I can understand why the film is forbidden in Malaysia. But the wife is gorgeous. I love her. She should be with Hans :( I love Hans, too. Fortunately that in real life they married but got divorced after that. Every setting of the film is like a painting by Van Gogh. The plot is normal but I still give an 8 thanks to the color.
- DirectorNoah BaumbachStarsBen StillerNaomi WattsAdam DriverA middle-aged couple's career and marriage are overturned when a disarming young couple enters their lives.Dont understand. Dont like it either. Hmmm ben Stiller is not my favorite actor. His role is always somehow stupid and slow, but not very funny. This film is nothing special. I choose it because Amanda Seyfried starring in but her role just appeared a little. The plot is slow, nothing special.
- DirectorSang-Hyo YookStarsShin Ha-kyunLee Kwang-sooEsomSe-Ha is intelligent, but confined to a wheelchair, while Dong-Goo is tall and athletic, but has a mental age of 5. Although not blood-related, Se-Ha and Dong-Goo navigate their way through life by filling in for each other's shortcomings. Not good film. The plot is normal. I expected more that maybe these people had some influence on the social therefore, their story is told in a movie, but it turns out that, nothing. They did nothing to the social. The older brother is even very selfish, soooooo selfish and his characteristics is so cheap, mean, and angry. Dont like it.
- DirectorJay RoachStarsCharlize TheronNicole KidmanMargot RobbieA group of women take on Fox News head Roger Ailes and the toxic atmosphere he presided over at the network. This film is a good enough film. 3 women are all so gorgeous. I am so love Charlize. Her beauty is so sharp. I love the meaning the film has. Although there is no aesthetic ideas in this, it is appealing enough. In the end, women are never treated equally. The money spent on all the female victims is not as much as on the 2 criminals for their quitting their job. There will never be justice and equality for women.
- DirectorTom HooperStarsColin FirthGeoffrey RushHelena Bonham CarterThe story of King George VI, his unexpected ascension to the throne of the British Empire in 1936, and the speech therapist who helped the unsure monarch overcome his stammer.Cant believe why this film got an 8 - such a high grade. I dont like one. Too boring for me. I still cant feel at which point he is great. Until the end of the movie, I still think he is so normal.
- DirectorDerek CianfranceStarsMichael FassbenderAlicia VikanderRachel WeiszA lighthouse keeper and his wife living off the coast of Western Australia raise a baby they rescue from a drifting rowing boat.A very serene film. I didnt know about the plot twist so at first the film was quite boring and slow. But the more I watch, the more appealing it became. But this film is really serene. Even at the twist, when the main was in jailed, the film is till very calm, it didn't bring any sense of thrilling or fast. I understand that the main actress was bearing a deepest pain of losing her children, but I can agree with them secretly adopting Grace. Their deed caused pain in 2 people - Grace and even her mother. A mother who has suffered the death of her husband and when finally got her daughter back, she still did not call her "Mom". A terrible pain. Until the main actress is dead, I still not forgive her.
- DirectorOlivier NakacheÉric ToledanoStarsFrançois CluzetOmar SyAnne Le NyAfter he becomes a quadriplegic from a paragliding accident, an aristocrat hires a young man from the projects to be his caregiver. When I first saw the title, I thought this one is very familiar, I was sure I watched it somewhere else. And yes, this is the original version of The Upside, which I only gave it a 6. Haha I cant barely remember anything from The Upside, but I like this one. I like Phillipe. The actor was amazing in showing through his eyes. His facial expressions, his eyes made him miserable but happy and relaxing at the same time. I am most impressed by the final scene when he thanked Driss for arranging a meeting with Elenore. His eyes was amazing, it showed gratitude, a deepest gratitude. Driss is exactly what he is :))) A noisy and honest boy.
- DirectorGreta GerwigStarsSaoirse RonanEmma WatsonFlorence PughJo March reflects back and forth on her life, telling the beloved story of the March sisters - four young women, each determined to live life on her own terms.I love this. Why on Earth could a girl has such an amazing talent and beauty like Saoirse Ronan. No words on this world can describe how talented, amazing, charming I think about her. She is such and amazing actress. This role is totally for her. I wonder if form the first moment, the writer was thinking about Saoirse Ronan, but this role was written for Saoirse only.
This is totally one of the best movie of the year, besides other famous names of this year like Parasite and Joker. I am not surprised at all for its nomination as Best picture. Costumes of this film is also brilliant.
I love the plot, I love everything of it. The color, the music. And of course Timothee Chalamet (but wait, I will spend a whole new paragraph to write about him :))))) At first, I though the movie was quite hard to keep up with because there were not a clear boundary between present and the past, but if you have same thinking, you still was not focusing like me :))))) The boundary is the color. In the past, the color was warm and happy, means that Jo's past was a happy, colorful past. In present, it was darker, Jo's life was not happy anymore. She grew up and had to struggled in life. And that's what I love about this film. The director was amazing in using such brilliant and meaningful thing to express the deep meaning. I love the March family. I love their past and the bond between sisters. I think that is the desirable bond of many sisters in the world.
Well, Timothee Chalamet. My prince, My charming little prince. He has such an enchanted beauty. If in the rainy in New York, he has a beauty of a mid-age man, in this, he was wickedly beautiful. He and Saoirse made such a lovely couple. But they really are alike :))) Even in films or real life they only suit each other as friends :)))). I kept watching the scene he was refused by Jo. He did the best as a heart-broken man. His eyes and postures showed complete sorrow.
Films about old era of England never disappoint me. If the plot is not good, there are always good points to enjoy especially color and landscape. - DirectorGalder Gaztelu-UrrutiaStarsIvan MassaguéZorion EguileorAntonia San JuanA vertical prison with one cell per level. Two people per cell. Only one food platform and two minutes per day to feed. An endless nightmare trapped in The Hole.Ewwwww, this one. It was so popular on Facebook. In a week, The Platform was everywhere. It was complimented for "excellent meaning" and some bullshit things that I cant remember. One interesting point of this is the idea. I quite like the idea of a real-life prison. It really shows how the society is working. But the rest, is bad. Generally, it is not my gem when it is so much like a horror. Fortunately, it was just 1'30. I can stand watching more.
- DirectorChristopher NolanStarsMatthew McConaugheyAnne HathawayJessica ChastainWhen Earth becomes uninhabitable in the future, a farmer and ex-NASA pilot, Joseph Cooper, is tasked to pilot a spacecraft, along with a team of researchers, to find a new planet for humans.
