script is cringe-inducing, as is goldberg's "wise old black woman" role. got close but was not able to finish it. really bad movie. despite its basis in reality the characters are implausible including the "sociopath" who has an openly emotional breakthrough (one that's not feigned.) interesting to see a very young elisabeth moss though.
