- DirectorShane StanleyStarsDanielle C. RyanDiora BairdIvan SergeiA single mom struggling to make ends meet as a Hollywood teamster evades capture by a ruthless FBI Agent while running black market medical supplies in her legendary souped-up pickup truck.I do hate putting movies like this at my number one because when it comes to pure definition of bad filmmaking it is honestly no contest. But what sucks is at least these other movies have at least a star attach, a decent director, and some redeeming qualities when it comes to the script. But very low budget almost straight to streaming movie shouldn’t be considered my number one. But damn when a movie is this bad it deserves to be at my number one. This year has sucked and it didn’t help that this came out at the beginning of the year. This is beyond bad. But again bad cinematography, editing, and acting is a pure sign that this wasn’t the highest budget movie to come out this year so I wish I can give it a pass. But what the hell man scene after scene just solidified my hatred for this movie minute after minute. This doesn’t even have a 1000 user rating on this film so yeah don’t waste your time like countless others that haven’t wasted their time with this bullshit.
1/10 - DirectorJason EisenerStarsDominic MarichePhoebe RexCalem MacDonaldAn all-time rager of a teen house party turns to terror when aliens attack, forcing two warring siblings to band together to survive the night.Yep. The boyfriend who made that one kid watch his friend die was pretty much the highlight of the movie. When I saw that shit I was like okay this movie got me with that one. Other than that tho this movie is a piece of shit. I usually don’t put movies this cheaply made this high up because I understand that budget restrictions along with other restraints that the filmmakers can’t be put to blame on. It is those huge overly produced Hollywood pictures with no soul or creativity should be place in the top spot. But it’s looking like this might stay at number one. Because I don’t care about integrity or anything like that when a movie is this bad who cares about that kinda shit. This is just flat out a terrible freaking movie with no desire in being anything other than that.
1/10 - DirectorAline Brosh McKennaStarsReese WitherspoonAshton KutcherZoë ChaoTwo long-distance best friends change each other's lives when she decides to pursue a lifelong dream and he volunteers to keep an eye on her teenage son.Possibly the most boring film I have seen in quite some time. I mean there is dialogue and an actual plot unlike some other artisty movies that have less than a plot and less characters are more fun and enjoyable that this film. I couldn’t stand this for one more second and can see every turn coming from a mile away. Seriously Legally Blonde and Punk’d don’t have any chemistry with most of the time them not being on screen together. So they are separated for most of the film and still couldn’t provide nothing to make me understand in any world these two would end up together. The movie is just plain bad. I hardly give 1 stars anymore but this one deserves it way too much.
1/10 - DirectorRobert RodriguezStarsBen AffleckAlice BragaJD PardoA detective investigates a mystery involving his missing daughter and a secret government program.Damn we have Ben, Jen, and Ana all amongst my worst films list. But this is the worst of them all. Robert Rodriguez could be a great director but holy crap is this a full blown terrible attempt of a live action anime film that never fully reaches that potential. I know RR is an anime fan because he did make Alita but cmon how did you drop this ball so far down and bad. A great concept about a powerful being going up against another powerful human being. That is 90% of anime now days but the action is filmed terribly and all the creative choices make no sense. But not in the I’m fascinated in seeing how this is all unfold but instead it is just a slog and bore to get through.
1/10 - DirectorDexter FletcherStarsChris EvansAna de ArmasAdrien BrodyCole falls head over heels for enigmatic Sadie, but then makes the shocking discovery that she's a secret agent. Before they can decide on a second date, Cole and Sadie are swept away on an international adventure to save the world. This wouldn’t be up this high but you know what who cares this is just terrible. The biggest fault is when Chris Evans who played a parody version of this on Not Another Teen Movie is playing that exact same character but not in an ironic way. But it’s effortless in trying to entertain the audience is something to actively be admired by. But sadly that novelty wears off in the next scene but just how badly they fuck up an action scene or a scene where we are trying to get to know either two leads. Not just with them together but them separated to try to give us some character development.
1/10 - DirectorEmma TammiStarsJosh HutchersonPiper RubioElizabeth LailA troubled security guard begins working at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. During his first night on the job, he realizes that the night shift won't be so easy to get through. Pretty soon he will unveil what actually happened at Freddy's.Yeah this might be the worst horror film of the year. Even worst than Kids vs Aliens. This went nowhere and it went in completely different directions in ways I didn’t expect. I wish I like some of the performances but damn really none of them did it for me. Not even PETA.
- DirectorJimmy GiannopoulosStarsAshley BensonJon FosterSky FerreiraQuarantine leads to a night of terror.AB still can’t act to save her life but even this movie is beneath her. Also pull back the fucking camera and stop making the dialogue so damn obvious. Like holy crap I can predict every line after the next. Well I guess her and Lucy Hale are going for who can star in the worst movie. But Ashley Benson or AB can still held her head up high because she was in the cinematic masterpiece that is Spring Breakers.
2/10 - DirectorCalmaticStarsJacob LatimoreTosin ColeKaren ObilomFrom New Line Cinema comes your VIP ticket into the hottest event of the year:"House Party," the remix to the fan-favorite '90s classic.I couldn’t place this ahead of Your Place or Mine. I just couldn’t but this was pretty close. At least it wasn’t as boring as that film I fully could pass out from boredom from both movies but this has one or two jokes that actually got a chuckle. But even the party didn’t help the movie to get better. It just sucks.
2/10 - DirectorScott WaughStarsJason Statham50 CentMegan FoxArmed with every weapon they can get their hands on, the Expendables are the world's last line of defense and the team that gets called when all other options are off the table.Yeah an easy spot and an easy movie to clown on. However this still manages to grind my gears and feel absolutely fine by putting this utter piece of garbage in my bottom ten films of 2023.
- DirectorTyler SpindelStarsAdam DevinePierce BrosnanEllen BarkinA straight-laced bank manager about to marry the love of his life. When his bank is held up by infamous Ghost Bandits during his wedding week, he believes his future in-laws who just arrived in town, are the infamous Out-Laws.The fact that this utter piece of shit is not even in my bottom 5 speaks volumes of just how many terrible movies came out this year. I mean you have seen this time and time again however this cast is insane and maybe deliver a line or two that did get me to chuckle but it is no surprise that this is a Netflix original and this movie doesn’t even need a writers strike because from the bottom of my heart that an AI could write it is worst. All of these actors just seem to be improvising these lines and they go on and on to no end.
2/10 - DirectorPeyton ReedStarsPaul RuddEvangeline LillyMichael DouglasScott Lang and Hope Van Dyne are dragged into the Quantum Realm, along with Hope's parents and Scott's daughter Cassie. Together they must find a way to escape, but what secrets is Hope's mother hiding? And who is the mysterious Kang?I don’t overly hate on the MCU or even superhero movies but damn has the past few movies been testing my limits. This and Shazam really sold themselves as nothing burgers. Big bloated messes that have nothing to be desired. Seriously I wish there was something for me to enjoy. But even when the visuals can’t save a movie where 90% of the movie takes place in a whole different universe then damn you failed.
2/10 - DirectorJohn WooStarsJoel KinnamanKid CudiHarold TorresA grieving father enacts his long-awaited revenge against a ruthless gang on Christmas Eve.Somehow it is worst than the other no dialogue movie out this year. Man this year was a complete disaster of full on terrible movies. John Woo is an awesome director who can do no wrong. And Rick Flagg is a great actor and is able to convey so much with no dialogue. But you need to go full on bonkersville with movies like this. It does end in a way that did make me go damn okay you went there. But nothing spark any interest and it couldn’t for the life of me keep me entertained. O yeah all Mexicans are criminals. Like all of them.
- DirectorDavid F. SandbergStarsZachary LeviAsher AngelJack Dylan GrazerThe film continues the story of teenage Billy Batson who, upon reciting the magic word "SHAZAM!" is transformed into his adult Super Hero alter ego, Shazam.Movies now are just a bunch of people in a room explaining their big plan and then executing said plan. Only for it the fail and then the last third act is them being triumphant. With dialogue that is so obvious you can see this shit from sitting on your couch at home. It just becomes boring. Seriously the whole movie is just flat out snore fest no matter how many “dark” moments are in the film. Seriously I know the board room scene back in the first one was seen a little too risky for a PG-13 superhero film. And their is one scene here where a character dies off himself and it is pretty dark. But man Guardians vol. 3 just pretty much proved that you can push that PG-13 envelope. This is just child’s play. So I got bored, found one scene pretty funny but yeah to me an overall failure that I couldn’t wait to be over.
3/10 - DirectorFranck KhalfounStarsJeremy ScippioJ. John BielerMonaia AbdelrahimA woman stops at a remote gas station in the middle of the night and becomes the target of a sociopathic sniper with a secret vendetta.Again another one of these movies with nothing new to offer. It is the same guy who just patiently waits to kill someone when clearly had all the time in the world to kill her. Like cmon it was obvious from the get what would happen. Which did not make me waste a second to drift my mind to other plot points to make this film better. Or at least take this genre into a whole new direction.
- DirectorJason MooreStarsJennifer LopezJosh DuhamelLenny KravitzDarcy and Tom gather their families for the ultimate destination wedding but when the entire wedding party is taken hostage the bride and groom must save their loved ones--if they don't kill each other first.Jlo ruined the beginning of the year with this romantic comedy based around misunderstandings over misunderstandings. Beyond stupid and not funny. The action is even bland which isn’t helped by lazy direction and terrible cinematography that I couldn’t keep my eyes on screen based on just how bad it looks. However, you know the real kicker it still isn’t as bad as Ghosted. How in the hell is this bottom rent version of that film with basically the same set up and set of actors that are way past their prime is still better than a movie with two more charming actors and with way more star power is still worst that this one.
3/10 - DirectorStig SvendsenStarsLiv MjönesElli Rhiannon Müller OsborneArthur HakalahtiSeventeen-year-old Thale has just moved to a small town after her mother got a new job at the local police station. After a student is brutally killed at a party Thale attends, she becomes a key witness. Was the killer an animal? A wolf?I wish I like this more. The tone worked for this story and I love werewolves especially ones where rip apart their victims. But this barely scratch my itch. I was left wanting more. And I’m sorry but the lead here might be the weakest link in this movie. The script for one has moments of actual creativity. Whereas the lead here doesn’t have anything truly to shine or give a reason to care for what she is going through. And the ending leaving it kinda ambiguous just grind my nerves more than it already was. Just watch Ginger Snaps.
3/10 - DirectorNiki CaroStarsJennifer LopezLucy PaezOmari HardwickWhile fleeing from dangerous assailants, an assassin comes out of hiding to protect the daughter she left earlier in life. And then Jlo ruined the start of the Summer let’s hope she has another movie at the end of the year to fully ruin this whole year. But she’ll all right. She’s JLO. And she still has some moves but this attempt of an action movie is just ain’t it chief. Seriously this is background noise right down the every letter in that word. It’s not even pleasant to watch JLO kick ass because it clearly fake and holy crap I understand yeah it’s a movie but I was never invested in any scene presented in front of me. It is exactly the film you think it is. No flavor on that steak.
3/10 - DirectorTom HarperStarsGal GadotJamie DornanAlia BhattAn intelligence operative for a shadowy global peacekeeping agency races to stop a hacker from stealing its most valuable and dangerous weapon.Rating this a 3 should be what the average Netflix action film is. Aside from Extraction these movies just don’t have the charm or any type of energy that makes watching these movie fun. It really is a slog to get through. Even The Grey Man from last year, Red Notice, 6 Underground, The Mother, and a handful of others that all fit in that 3/10 range. But this is the crown jewel of that 3/10.
- DirectorRenny HarlinStarsAaron EckhartNina DobrevClifton Collins Jr.An ex-CIA agent is reactivated when an extortionist targets the agency.
- DirectorTaika WaititiStarsMichael FassbenderOscar KightleyKaimanaThe story of the infamously terrible American Samoa soccer team, known for a brutal 2001 FIFA match they lost 31-0.It is all the same dull shit that not only that Watiti has made but comedies that have been coming out lately. I didn’t feel like punching up the air or any inspiration that I had felt when I watched the original doc way back in the day. Forget this movie it really offers nothing and Fassbender is kinda miscast here even tho I found him funny in moments but holy crap is this just a flat and boring comedy that I couldn’t get into. Forget it being a sports movie because it is not even close for it being one.
- DirectorMatt Bettinelli-OlpinTyler GillettStarsCourteney CoxMelissa BarreraJenna OrtegaIn the next installment, the survivors of the Ghostface killings leave Woodsboro behind and start a fresh chapter in New York City.I really didn’t like the last one and this felt really even less like a Scream movie. I’m just not a fan of these two newest Scream movies. The cast is not that likable (to me), the story is underwhelming and retread of previous Scream movies along with it being so damn obvious. It just became a chore to get through. It is also not fun to watch a movie where you can easily tell who the killer is. Seriously it is accessible as only background noise. And Scream was never like that.
3/10 - DirectorSam FellStarsThandiwe NewtonZachary LeviBella RamseyHaving pulled off an escape from Tweedy's farm, Ginger has found a peaceful island sanctuary for the whole flock. But back on the mainland the whole of chicken-kind faces a new threat, and Ginger and her team decide to break in.It’s pretty bad. No charm and nothing to cheer for. Which the joy and complete full blown excitement was seeing these chickens play with faith and refuse to die. Plus more agenda pushing. This was Mel Gibson franchise so give it back.
- DirectorZack SnyderStarsSofia BoutellaDjimon HounsouEd SkreinWhen a peaceful settlement on the edge of a distant moon finds itself threatened by a tyrannical ruling force, a stranger living among its villagers becomes their best hope for survival.
- DirectorJeremy GarelickStarsAdam SandlerJennifer AnistonMark StrongFull-time detectives Nick and Audrey are struggling to get their private eye agency off the ground. They find themselves at the center of international abduction when their friend Maharaja is kidnapped at his own lavish wedding.I remember there was this one scene that made me laugh pretty hard. But for the life of me can’t even remember what scene it was and I don’t even care enough to go back and find out what scene it was. Both the Sandman and Aniston are great together like always but this is on par with the first one. But who ideas was it to give Sandman an action scene and he actually delivered.
3/10 - DirectorBishal DuttaStarsMegan SuriNeeru BajwaMohana KrishnanAn Indian-American teenager struggling with her cultural identity has a falling out with her former best friend and, in the process, unwittingly releases a demonic entity that grows stronger by feeding on her loneliness. It’s just your basic run of the mill teen scream that goes nowhere. It is fresh to see a different perspective and even a little creativity in the possession genre. But damn this is just a sad excuse for a horror film. Nothing scary, nothing exciting happening, and even not an ounce of even goofing acting. It is just again bland and plain snore fest. Also why is everyone speaking so damn low I had the volume full blast and this bitch still wasn’t loud.
- DirectorBrian DuffieldStarsKaitlyn DeverElizabeth KaluevZack DuhameAn exiled anxiety-ridden homebody must battle an alien who's found its way into her home.Nope did it better.
- DirectorMatt AngelSuzanne CooteStarsLulu WilsonSeann William ScottDenise BurseTwo years after escaping a violent attack, a teenage girl must defend herself against a domestic terrorist cell.I really enjoyed the first one. I think as a throwback slasher with some awesome kills and a lead character that is full blown amazing to watch her get the upper hand on these shitty characters. Even the directing and editing choices are top notch for the type of film it was. But this has none of the charm or creativity that the first one was able to deliver on. This one is just a slog and a bore.
3/10 - DirectorMolly GordonNick LiebermanStarsBen PlattMolly GordonNoah GalvinThe eccentric staff of a rundown theater camp in upstate New York must band together with the beloved founder's bro-y son to keep the camp afloat.I know a lot of those who are falling head over hills for this movie but ultimately I didn’t laugh once. I think the editing and knowing when to cut certain scenes so they don’t go on for too long is a very under appreciated technique in comedy. But I was just bored to tears watching all of these loser actors who can’t act for shit trying their hardest to prove that they are funny when no one is telling them that they are not funny. Except Jimmy he is the only one from the cast who stands out. But he is an actual comedian who can fly off the cup compared to the others here that are beyond terrible. So whenever he is not on screen the movie is a dull. Everything is working for the movie like I said, the scenes have brisk pace that move the plot forward and I know that I’m supposed to be laughing but I’m just not. But the non union joke did get me to laugh.
4/10 - DirectorTyler MacIntyreStarsJane WiddopJoel McHaleJustin LongAfter saving her town from a psychotic killer, Winnie Carruthers' life is less than wonderful. When she wishes she'd never been born, she finds herself in a nightmare parallel universe where without her, things could be much, much worse. That one joke about that one thing is pretty funny but that is about it. And even writing this I can’t think of what the joke was. Plus why was everyone just standing around in that last scene like there isn’t a killer on the loose and isn’t right there. It just felt clunky and all over the place. With no end in sight this is a bad horror movie that is trying to expand on this story with a unique spin but comes off as just half baked.
4/10 - DirectorSteven Caple Jr.StarsAnthony RamosDominique FishbackLuna Lauren VelezDuring the '90s, a new faction of Transformers - the Maximals - join the Autobots as allies in the battle for Earth. No bayhem, no funny characters, no intense awesome action sequences that actually feel worth going to the movies for. So as a streaming movie it is just fine. Also they killed Bumblebee.
4/10 - DirectorJames MangoldStarsHarrison FordPhoebe Waller-BridgeAntonio BanderasArchaeologist Indiana Jones races against time to retrieve a legendary artifact that can change the course of history.I’m sorry but I just don’t like this destruction of our favorite characters. I’m sorry and it is not just him being a grumpy old guy who is screaming at his downstairs neighbors. That’s understandable but it is teaming him up with people who have no business being with him or even being in this movie. Like really I have to spend this adventure with Dr. Jones for two and an half hours of pure unpleasantness. Who the hell thought this would be a good idea? Was there even a climax to the story okay like yeah they need to find the Dial of Destiny to stop Hannibal but aside from that what is this movie truly about. There really is no story here and no true purpose to this ending of our iconic hero. Truly lazy and pointless. Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is way better.
- DirectorAaron HorvathMichael JelenicPierre LeducStarsChris PrattAnya Taylor-JoyCharlie DayA plumber named Mario travels through an underground labyrinth with his brother Luigi, trying to save a captured princess. It means well. But I’m not a Mario guy. I’m a super sonic type of guy. That is my homie but not Mario so I don’t care for this world and it doesn’t offer anything too enticing for me to keep an eye on this franchise. It has some voice over work that is up to the task but I’m glad to see a lot of people are enjoying it and kinda glad to see another animation studio be so successful because we need more competition. It is fun to see this stuff play out because maybe with other animation studios stepping up their game means we would get better projects. I may not like it and feel no desire to watch this every again but I’m pretty sure that this is for those who will have a good time so what is the harm in that.
4/10 - DirectorScott BeckBryan WoodsStarsAdam DriverAriana GreenblattChloe ColemanAn astronaut crash lands on a mysterious planet only to discover he's not alone. Is it even fair to call this a movie. With it being an obvious movie and a half. I don’t know if this thing got cut to pieces from Sony. Also having to spell out literally everything about this movie has to offer. Some directional choices are well filmed along with having a great lead with Kylo. He’s fine but the whole film is just a let down and I’m just tired of time travel movies but this one is at least a little more unique.
4/10 - DirectorDavid Gordon GreenStarsLafortune JosephLeslie Odom Jr.Gastner LegermeWhen two girls disappear into the woods and return three days later with no memory of what happened to them, the father of one girl seeks out Chris MacNeil, who's been forever altered by what happened to her daughter fifty years ago.Damn I didn’t think I would hate so many other movies or find so many other films badly made this year. But this is one of them but not far down at the bottom. Because I can think of worst films. But this was up there for a while.
- DirectorJames WanStarsJason MomoaPatrick WilsonYahya Abdul-Mateen IIBlack Manta seeks revenge on Aquaman for his father's death. Wielding the Black Trident's power, he becomes a formidable foe. To defend Atlantis, Aquaman forges an alliance with his imprisoned brother. They must protect the kingdom. This is better than most of the big blockbusters in the year 2023. But holy crap did I lose interest faster than a sinking rock. Randall Park is actually pretty good here. He isn’t playing up the laugh factor too much like he did in the Antman movies or even homeboy scientist in Blue Beetle or the other 100 of comedians in these type of scientist roles. And yeah it can’t be help that Jason and Patrick have great chemistry. As a brother movie it ain’t that bad. But the force humor ruins it and making Aquaman an Iron man esque character is really poor decision making that I know for a fact isn’t what James Wan and his team want. So yeah a let down.
4/10 - DirectorPierre MorelStarsJohn CenaAlison BrieJuan Pablo RabaAn ex-special forces operative takes a job to provide security for a journalist as she interviews a dictator, but when a military coup breaks out in the middle of the interview, they are forced to escape into the jungle. It may not have a big studio behind it or a lot of resources hell I’d be surprised if anyone knew this came out. So it isn’t too bad. Because I found a lot worst out there. I mean Cena name is Mason so I kept thinking the numbers Mason. What do they mean? Also if you can’t tell, fuck it who cares. But seriously it’s no reason why this bomb but also it is no secret as to why these actors can only get these roles. It is embarrassing to see Cena like this along with Brie because those are way more capable. The script is somewhat there but the direction for once is pretty bad. Usually it is the writing but the direction and shots are just downright terrible.
4/10 - DirectorLee CroninStarsMirabai PeaseRichard CrouchleyAnna-Maree ThomasA twisted tale of two estranged sisters whose reunion is cut short by the rise of flesh-possessing demons, thrusting them into a primal battle for survival as they face the most nightmarish version of family imaginable.I really wish I like this more. I love horror movies and along with this franchise I am a huge fan of. All of the movies I am in love with except this one. The elevator scene is the only scene I can see myself watching again when the whole movie is just pretty bland to me. I know some do love this crazy bloody thrill ride and I wish I can be along for the ride but I just was not vibing with this one.
4/10 - DirectorAlexis JacknowStarsDianna AgronMelora HardinJay AliA woman enrolls in a clinical trial to try and fix her seemingly broken biological clock after friends, family, and society pressures her to have children. This isn’t a bad directorial debut in fact a lot of the scenes and editing choices are well executed. But I know fans of the lead here will go for my throat but sadly she isn’t game for this film. Diana Argon isn’t as good of an actress as some may give her credit for. For the lead of your film who is on screen 100% of the runtime isn’t up for the task to deliver a groundbreaking performance that we have a real problem.
5/10 - DirectorBrett DonowhoStarsNicolas CageRyan Kiera ArmstrongClint HowardAn old gunslinger and his daughter must face the consequences of his past, when the son of a man he murdered years ago arrives to take his revenge. There is a whillem scream in the first 5 minutes and the movie peaked from there. Nic Cage is totally far from his Mandy and even Reinfield which came out this year. He is actually pretty boring and just doing the more mundane Cage stuff he does when he is in lesser movies. So this isn’t Pig but it is far from his other trash he has been in.
4/10 - DirectorJesse EisenbergStarsJulianne MooreFinn WolfhardBilly BrykEvelyn and her oblivious son Ziggy seek out replacements for each other as Evelyn desperately tries to parent an unassuming teenager at her shelter, while Ziggy fumbles through his pursuit of a brilliant young woman at school. This man was beating his meat to a poem. To a poem.
4/10 - DirectorKyle MarvinStarsLily TomlinJane FondaRita MorenoA group of friends made it their life-long mission to go to the Super Bowl and meet NFL superstar Tom Brady.Fuck Tom Brady and fuck that Super Bowl. They made a movie about the most ridiculous and dick riding event of the century into a movie. But if this was actually about these four women instead of some collection of rejected sitcoms jokes that honestly are so bland not worth mentioning.
5/10 - DirectorPeter AtencioStarsBert KreischerMark HamillJimmy TatroBert's drunken past catches up with him 20 years down the road when he and his father are kidnapped by those Bert wronged 20 years ago while drunk on a college semester abroad in Russia.
- DirectorDavid PastorÀlex PastorStarsMario CasasGeorgina CampbellDiego CalvaAfter an entity of mysterious origin annihilates the world's population causing those who observe it to take their lives, Sebastián and his daughter begin their own great adventure of survival in Barcelona.Holy crap I tried so hard to be interested in this film because it has a lead that is usually not at the center of these types of movies. He is unlikeable and you are not routing for him. Which made me go yes give me supporting characters to route for to take this dude down. Sadly this film doesn’t go that route. None of the supporting cast comes in on their own and it just becomes a retread of the first film. And I wasn’t even a fan of that one.
5/10 - DirectorDave FrancoStarsAlison BrieJay EllisKiersey ClemonsOn a trip to her hometown, workaholic Ally reminisces with her ex Sean and starts to question everything about the person she's become. Things only get more confusing when she meets Cassidy, who reminds her of the person she used to be.It’s not as bad as half these movies and Dave Franco is a pretty fine director who can set up a shot and deliver some worthy drama conflicts that do feel genuine. Other times tho it feels like it needed moments to have conflicts because it is a movie and it needed drama. So the entire film doesn’t work on that behalf so then it is put upon the romantic angle mixed in with some comedy that feels so out of place. And sadly the movie does not live up to those comedic standards. I never found it funny or even charming which is shame because these actors never feel genuine. The drama feels somewhat with enough care in the screenplay that it does manage to create some type of feeling that is positive enough for me to at least give it a 5.
5/10 - DirectorGuy RitchieStarsJason StathamAubrey PlazaCary ElwesSpecial agent Orson Fortune and his team of operatives recruit one of Hollywood's biggest movie stars to help them on an undercover mission when the sale of a deadly new weapons technology threatens to disrupt the world order.I never thought I would put this on here but holy crap did GR make a truly terrible and boring action film that stars our generation action star that has his fair share of classics on his belt. But here not only is the Stahamantor boring here but the whole cast is just slugging around. Even Hugh Grant who already played this character this year and has been playing this character for the latter part of his career isn’t even remotely close to those incredible performances. Last but certainly not least is April Ludgate Dwyer who is so damn a miscast with GR material. I know he loves to do the fast talking quickly cut direction and writing but sadly Aubrey is just not that good here. It is almost like she is in her own movie instead of the one that is presented.
5/10 - DirectorRoxanne BenjaminStarsAlisha WainwrightAmanda CrewCarlos SantosA family takes a weekend trip with longtime friends and their two young children, but, they suspect something supernatural when the kids behave strangely after disappearing into the woods overnight. It’s almost really decent. But it falls extremely flat near the end because I really wish it went with a full blown intense ending instead it falls victim to the usual run and hide away from blank that so many horror films turn into. Where I thought this film was better and even the director has made better stuff in the past most notably the best segment in Southbound. But this is just a bore and none of the performances can reach a certain high that is required from this movie. The kids are just being creepy and not much else is there. At least in Evil Dead Rise those kids do have more of an expression.
5/10 - DirectorScott WaughStarsJackie ChanJohn CenaChunrui MaTwo ex-special forces soldiers must escort a group of civilians along Baghdad's "Highway of Death" to the safety of the Green Zone.Takeaway the plot and this is actually not a bad little action film but I need to dock a lot of points because of the way Jackie has treated his daughter. Haha yeah I know some might say that has nothing to do with the movie and you’re right but I mean it is just a rating on IMDb. I already gave it a view so nothing even matters. I know but who cares Jackie is going to Jackie so it may never matter in the long run.
5/10 - DirectorYing-Ting TsengStarsJanine Chun-Ning ChangEthan JuanAn-Shun YuWhen a mysterious corpse is found in a river, a distressed police officer delves into a string of grisly murders as danger quickly approaches. After the initial set up in the beginning this thing falls off like a rock off a cliff. I tried to enjoy it as a murder investigation crime thriller but all of that falls short. Plus I have just seen this story done way better and so many times before. Aside from the main character and what they do with her the movie doesn’t come off anything special. It has some cool moments but damn is this just a lazy and nonsensical crime thriller that is a slog to get through.
- DirectorKenya BarrisStarsJonah HillLauren LondonEddie MurphyFollows a new couple and their families, who find themselves examining modern love and family dynamics amidst clashing cultures, societal expectations and generational differences. Why they cut the Ye verse in fellas in Paris? Excuse my French but I’m in France. Bars on bars. Ball so hard. O yeah the movie. If you are white you are going to hate this movie, I suspect if you are black you are going to hate this movie, and if you like comedy then prepare not to laugh. Just stupid stuff.
5/10 - DirectorRob SavageStarsSophie ThatcherChris MessinaVivien Lyra BlairStill reeling from the tragic death of their mother, a teenage girl and her younger sister find themselves plagued by a sadistic presence in their house and struggle to get their grieving father to pay attention before it's too late.Pure definition of forgettable. Except Sophie Thatcher she is incredible but she can’t save this movie and of course the typical annoying teenage character that these type of movies always have. She is more front and center which does make me go okay she is worth giving this movie about a 5 because that is all this is. Not a total waste of time but it is as affecting as it is in-affected.

I was vibing with the mystery for some of it. Until this bitch goes off the rails. This completely ruined everything I had little hope for the show. I laughed at a couple jokes but when the bodies starting to pile up and no other reason other than just to be edgy I just gave up. I was like fine I’ll finish this series but you better pull a giant ass rabbit out of this hat for me to enjoy it. Sadly the rabbit did come out but it wasn’t alive. Quite like the metaphor for this show. And what a waste for a good metaphor on a shit show like this. Another reason why to hate this shit.

But I mean cmon this shot isn’t even worth the 5+ hour journey it tries to take you on. This is just so flat and boring that you know maybe eating bullets would be more fun than watching another second of this show. Let me catch you looking at her again.

So many problems so many issues not only with the subject matter but along with just putting together this woven story about this drug and how it affects people. Listen Dopesick on Hulu is way, way, way better than this. Like holy crap did that get everything right while this gets everything wrong. What the hell is Ferris doing I mean he can’t even come close to what Michael Surberg did on Dopesick. His illusions he has with Agent Collison are just so telegraph and filled with nonsense that it is something a Netflix executive would come up with. But the biggest complaint has to be these quick edits for comedic effect is the ultimate killer because holy crap is it so bad.
