Thankfully, Amazon Freevee stepped in and picked up Almost Paradise Season 2, and it premieres this summer.
As revealed Monday by TV Line, all ten episodes of Almost Paradise Season 2 will wash up on the free streaming service on Friday, July 21.
It will be available in the U.S. and the UK on that date, with other territories likely following shortly after.
Kane returns to star along with returning executive producers and co-showrunners Devlin and Gary Rosen.

More than 20 months after airing its freshman finale on (blast from the past alert!) WGN America, the Christian Kane-led Almost Paradise has been renewed for Season 2 — at IMDb TV.
The move doubly makes sense since 1) IMDb TV for the past year has been the streaming home for Season 1 of the action drama, and 2) Prime Video’s free streaming hub last year resurrected Leverage, which counts Kane among its cast.

IMDb TV, Amazon’s free, ad-supported streaming service, has renewed drama series Almost Paradise for a second season.
Created by Dean Devlin and Gary Rosen, the drama follows Alex Walker (Christian Kane), a former U.S. DEA agent who, after his partner’s betrayal and a life-threatening battle with hypertension, is forced into early retirement and relocates to a small tropical island in the Philippines.
Once the DEA’s most resourceful undercover operative, Walker now runs the gift shop in the island’s luxury resort hotel. While he manages to transition from top DEA agent to laid-back islander, the luxury resort has attracted the rich, powerful—and sometimes criminal—elite from around the world, often on a collision course with Alex. Despite his best efforts to begin a tranquil new life, he’s pulled back into a world of dangerous people and deadly situations, either through his friends in the local police,...

Facebook is implementing a stringent one-strike policy that will bar people from using the platform’s livestreaming tools after their first violation of its “most serious policies” -- specifically, the site's guidelines regarding Dangerous Individuals and Organizations.
In a blog post about the new rule, Facebook vice president Gary Rosen explained that Facebook bars people who are involved in terrorism, organized hate activity, mass or serial murder, and human trafficking from having Facebook accounts at all. And Facebook's guidelines allow the platform remove users’ content if it “expresses support or praise for groups, leaders, or individuals involved in these activities.” Users who post support or praise for hate groups aren’t necessarily banned from Facebook wholesale unless they have repeated violations.
But now, thanks to the new policy, they will be banned from livestreaming after just one violation.

After reports began to swirl that 'The Jerry Springer Show' was offering Casey Anthony $1 million to make an appearance with her family, the show's execs are now saying that the supposed monetary offer is completely false.
"There is absolutely no truth to this story whatsoever," 'Jerry Springer' spokesman Gary Rosen said in a statement. "'The Jerry Spring Show' has not made any monetary offer to Casey Anthony and her family to appear on the program, nor will we."
The rumored appearance would have marked the Tot Mom's first public words following her first degree murder charge acquittal. Original reports detailed that the show presented the offer to Anthony's legal team on Friday morning, an offer that would then be taken to Anthony and her family -- who supposedly had to appear on the show with her in order for the deal to go through.
