Mentored by the late, great Visual Effects wizard Peter Donen, Henric's career has been characterized by an unwavering commitment to the job. From his beginnings as a young San Francisco filmmaker in 1991 to the success as the Visual Effects Producer for Flightplan with Oscar Award Winning VFX Supervisor Rob Hodgson.
His brother-in-law is a 3-time Special Olympic gold medalist.
On U-571, he became a certified scuba diver to monitor underwater SFX, Camera and Model Maker Miniature Submarine Support.
During the Ladder 49 wrap party in Baltimore, he found himself in the park playing Frisbee with Joaquin Phoenix with dried, leftover Boca burger patties.
The rubber dingy at the end of U-571 was shot off the shores of Catalina Island. Actors were substituted with dummies... And Henric.
