- Award winning, freelance filmmaker Don Dunn began his career in 1986 upon graduation from high school where he majored in television production and honed his early skills as a Director, Shooter/Editor. A self motivated individual Don started his own video production company at age 18 and worked as a Producer, Director, Cameraman, and Editor for five years. He also ran a small cable television production/broadcast station for the L.A.U.S.D. while studying feature film production at the California State University Northridge and working as an extra on movies and TV series. Upon completion of his Bachelors Degree in Film in the early 90s, Don started over at the bottom of the feature film business as an on set Production Assistant . Through very hard work, and using his physical production knowledge and experience he rose from Production Assistant to Unit Production Manager within a years time. Don's broad background and can do attitude has allowed him the opportunity to work many great professionals and succeed in many different areas of film making including Producing, Directing, Line Producing, Production Managing, Assistant Directing, Location Managing, and Post Production Supervising. After achieving over 50 feature film and television credits,Don was tapped by prolific Producer/Director/Actor Brian Robbins in 2009 to produce "Fred:The Movie" which became the highest rated cable television movie in history with over 12 million views in it's premier on Nickelodeon. This led Don to Produce/Production Manage several series and feature films for Mr. Robbins, including the Pilot and two seasons of "Supah Ninjas" 39 episodes, 24 episodes of "Fred:The Show", The feature film "Camp Fred" (nominated for a 2013 DGA Award), Richie Rich, one of Netflix first original series, the feature film "Expelled" the number one I Tunes Download in December 2014, he served as Executive Producer on "The Smosh Movie" 2015, and several other projects for Mr. Robbins and ATV/Dreamworks Animation, in addition to freelance consulting on many other outside projects.
