It is rumored that Meri Brown secretly got hitched, and the Sister Wives star is here to clear the air.
Meri has been actively dating since her split from Kody Brown in 2023 and even had a steady boyfriend, Amos Andrews, earlier this year.
Meri and Amos’s relationship didn’t last, but some of her fans believe she took her love life one step further and tied the knot.
She addressed the tittle-tattle on social media, taking to Instagram to set the record straight.
The 53-year-old mom of one uploaded four screenshots (clearly Photoshopped) from articles posted on Facebook, claiming in the headlines that she has gotten married.
“Fans are shocked!” read one of the headlines, with another claiming, “Meri Brown finally got married!”

Spoiler Alert: Do not read ahead if you have not watched Season 11, Episode 5 of “The Masked Singer,” “Group C Finals: Shower Anthems Night,” which aired April 3 on Fox.
After two weeks of being on “The Masked Singer” chopping block, Sisqó is finally gone-guh-gone-gone-gone.
I think I’ll sing it again: Sisqó’s been dumped like a truck, truck, truck. “The Masked Singer” has removed his butt, butt, butt. Let me see (who sang) that song!
That’s right, “Thong Song” superstar Sisqó on Wednesday became the latest celebrity to be unmasked on “The Masked Singer,” revealed to be the Lizard.
For Sisqó as the Lizard, several of the panelists had figured it out. Robin Thicke and Rita Ora knew it was Sisqó. Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg picked Ray J. Ken Jeong said it was Michael Bivins.
Lizard was voted out after being one of the two lowest vote-getters in the two previous episodes.

The music business is all about the next big act, the next big performer. Who’s going to break out. Who’s going to be the next household name. The Grammys, over the years and to varying degrees of success, has delivered that prediction with its Best New Artist prize.
Starting with Bobby Darin in 1960, the award has been the harbinger of who’s going to be topping the music world … some of the time. Darin didn’t do too bad in his long music and acting career. In 1965, a little combo from the UK made the cut and The Beatles went on to become one of the greatest bands ever.
Some other highlights of the Best New Artist roster. In 1962, Peter Nero was the first jazz musician to win. Bobbie Gentry was the first woman to win in 1968. The Carpenters, Richard and Karen, was the first duo to win...

As the tenth anniversary of Glen Campbell’s Ghost on the Canvas was approaching, Dave Kaplan —whose Surfdog Records released the haunting album in 2011 — was pondering ways to honor it. A late-period landmark for Campbell, who died in 2017 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease, Ghost on the Canvas found the venerable pop-country singer and guitarist covering songs by a new generation of writers — alt-rock types like Paul Westerberg, Guided By Voices’ Robert Pollard, Jakob Dylan, and Teddy Thompson. The album ranked Number 88 on Rolling Stone‘s list of...

Tony Bennett's first record, "Because of You" was released in 1952 and it instantly codified the entertainer as one of the music world's great crooners. In 1962, his 15th record, "I Left My Heart in San Francisco" was certified platinum by the RIAA, but that was after he had already established himself with Count Basie and his Orchestra and as a great fan of songwriter Harold Arlen. All told, he released 61 records in his decades-long career, not including his eight albums of collaborations and duets. He sang with Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand, Ray Charles, Carrie Underwood, Stevie Wonder, Natalie Cole, Mariah Carey, Bono, Sting, Paul McCartney, Diana Krall, and many others. Most recently, he released two collaborations with Lady Gaga in 2018 and 2021. Bennett passed away on July 21, 2023 at the age of 96. He will be deeply missed.

Who didn’t Tony Bennett duet with?
The legendary singer was famously known for his Grammy-winning, platinum-selling Duet albums that featured everyone from Lady Gaga and Amy Winehouse to Aretha Franklin and Barbra Streisand.
Here, we celebrate the collaborative efforts of Bennett, who died Friday at age 96.
Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga ditched the upbeat, electronic dance sound that made her popular to work with Bennett on jazz music, a genre she had been singing since she was a teenager. The New Yorkers first collaborated on “The Lady Is a Tramp” from Bennett’s 2011 release Duets II. The pairing was so perfect they went on to record 2014’s Cheek to Cheek, with Bennett and Gaga hoping to turn more kids to jazz music. “[Gaga] has a vast group of young people who love her, and they’ve never heard popular jazz music, classical American music … and my ambition was to do this...

Caldwell is best known for his 1978 single “What You Won’t Do for Love”, which featured on his self-titled debut album.

Bobby Caldwell, the blue-eyed soul singer best known for his hit single “What You Won’t Do for Love,” has died at the age of 71.
Caldwell’s wife, Mary, confirmed the singer’s death on social media on Wednesday, March 15th. TMZ reports that he had been battling an unspecified illness for several years.
As a teenager, Caldwell moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music. He briefly played rhythm guitar for Little Richard, but it took six years for him to catch his big break and land a recording deal with Tk Records. “What You Won’t Do for Love,” appeared on his 1978 self-titled debut album, and hit the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. In the ensuing years, the song would be sampled by a number of hip-hop and R&b artists, including Tupac on “Do for Love.”

In 1992, four years before the death of a then-unknown singer named Eva Cassidy, and eight before she would achieve posthumous, worldwide fame, she had a dream goal for her career. “Eva had a fantasy of one day having a full orchestra back her up,” says Chris Biondo, the singer’s original arranger and bandmate. “To her, that was the greatest place you could be musically.”
In fact, she and Chris had a specific role model for her fantasy project: Natalie Cole’s album Unforgettable, a collection of standards that appeared the previous year which, thanks to the marvels of studio sorcery, created a duet between Natalie and her late father, Nat King Cole, on the title song. The 65th Grammy Awards ceremony was one of the wildest Grammys when it came to winners. Among expected triumphs and some true shockers, many records were broken on February 5, with artists imprinting their name on Grammy history. Here are four major milestones that were achieved on Grammy night.

Most wins ever
The Grammys made it their mission for everyone to know of perhaps the biggest record broken this century: Beyoncé earning the most wins for any artist ever in Grammy history. Prior to the ceremony, the singer had 28 wins and was tied with Quincy Jones for the second most ever. First place belonged to conductor Georg Solti, who had racked up 31 wins by the late 1990s when he died. Heading into the 2023 Grammy Awards Sunday night, Beyoncé was our odds-on favorite to win Album of the Year for her critically acclaimed disc “Renaissance.” The evening’s host, Trevor Noah, even gushed over her awards supremacy throughout the evening, at some points making Queen B herself look a bit uncomfortable. She did take home four trophies, making her the biggest Grammy winner of all time with 33, but lost the night’s biggest prize to Harry Styles‘ “Harry’s House.”
It was a ceremony filled with surprises — Lizzo took down Adele and Styles to win Record of the Year for her smash “About Damn Time.” Perhaps nobody was more shocked on the night than Bonnie Raitt, who won Song of the Year for “Just Like That.” Had Beyoncé won Album of the Year, she would have become just the fourth Black woman to achieve this feat, and the first in 24 years.

Los Angeles, Feb 3 (Ians) American record producer Clive Davis, who is known for his Pre-Grammy Gala – better known as “the Clive Party”, has revealed that actor Myles Frost will perform at the finale of the party.
He said: “As you know, the show can run for a few hours, so at some point early on, I will say, ‘If you leave before the end, you leave it at your peril, because you will miss the final performer of the night'”.

The 65th Annual Grammy Awards are set to be telecast live, February 5, on CBS, with Beyonce leading the way with nine nominations for her critically acclaimed album, “Renaissance.” While many consider Queen B the clear frontrunner to take the evening’s top prize, Album of the Year, it is worth examining the terrible track record the Grammy Awards have had with women of color.
As main album artists, Black women make up around 10 percent of all Album of the Year nominees in the 64-year history of music’s most prestigious event. Of those nominees, only three women were able to pull off a win (less than five-percent of all winners). So while Beyonce may be leading on our Gold Derby racetrack, I can’t help but wonder if we’ll see a repeat of her 2017 loss for “Lemonade,” where she was heavily favored but still lost to Adele (“25”).

Believe it or not, Diana Ross has never won a Grammy. The legendary diva who charted 12 #1 singles with The Supremes and six as a solo artist has been shut out by the Recording Academy despite 12 nominations between 1965 and 1983. She was, however, bestowed their Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012. Now, at the age of 78, Ross looks poised to win her first competitive Grammy for Best Traditional Pop Album (“Thank You”), but it’s no sure bet.
While Ross leads our combined Grammy odds, this category has rarely been won by a female artist. In fact, since being introduced in 1992, only three women have taken home the prize for solo efforts. The very first honor went to Natalie Cole for 1992’s “Unforgettable,” which went on to win Album of the Year. The other two ladies to be honored were Patti Page in 1999 for “Live at Carnegie Hall: The 50th Anniversary Concert” and Joni Mitchell...

Grammys flashback: Whitney Houston’s win for ‘The Bodyguard’ soundtrack wasn’t a foregone conclusion
Whitney Houston is undoubtedly one of the most legendary singers in modern recording history. Across multiple decades, she released iconic singles like “I Wanna Dance With Somebody,” “I Have Nothing,” and of course the legendary Dolly Parton cover “I Will Always Love You” for the movie “The Bodyguard.” That film’s soundtrack is itself one of the most successful albums ever. But just how Houston did it can tell us a lot about her massive stardom, the importance of narratives, and how the Grammys don’t always snub Black artists.

What can add joy to any pop fan’s holiday season? A little Electric Youth. Debbie Gibson throws her Santa hat in the ring with Winterlicious, her first-ever holiday album, which drops on October 21. It’s a Christmas celebration for the once and future pop queen, 35 years after her classic Eighties debut Out of the Blue and a year after her excellent 2021 comeback, The Body Remembers. “People need festive now more than ever,” Gibson tells Rolling Stone. “I think any chance for people to be uplifted is a good thing.

Anyone who feels the Grammy Awards can be stodgy today might want to consider how far the show has come since the 1990s.
Not only was it an utterly abysmal time for fashion — The hair! The shoulder pads! The big, stiff suits! — but the music industry was riding the CD boom, which took profits to hitherto-unimagined heights and made hubris balloon even faster: The titans of the industry thought, as they often do, “We have made it, we’ll just keep doing exactly the same thing over and over and the masses will give us more and more money!” The sounds of the future — hip-hop, alternative, heavy metal — got obligatory new categories as a patronizing pat on the head for “the youngsters”. By the early 1990s, the Grammy voting body had become ever more out-of-touch, complacent, arrogant and, most of all, old.
This situation may have reached its lowest point...

Olivia Rodrigo would appear to be close to a shoo-in for several Grammys, but when it comes to what’s generally considered the most prestigious prize, album of the year, there’s a serious competitor packing heat, and he’s old enough to be her grandfather’s grandfather.
Rodrigo has a decent shot at winning the Grammys’ quadruple crown, for album, record, song and new artist of the year, just as another teen, Billie Eilish, did two years ago. Tony Bennett is the likeliest spoiler, however, of the 19-year-old’s shot at grabbing all the Grammy glory her first time out of the gate. It’s the 95-year-old legend’s last time in contention. His last recorded hurrah, a collaboration with Lady Gaga, wouldn’t exactly go down as the most au courant album winner ever, but it would prompt a lot of “awwwws” if it gives him one last...

Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga’s “Love For Sale” has proven to be a success at the Grammys, racking up six nominations including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Music Video. However, one of the album’s most overlooked nominations is for Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical. While many people might not pay as much attention to this technical category, especially since the award doesn’t go to the artist but rather the mixing engineers, “Love For Sale’s” nomination here might mean a lot more than you think.

Alexander Hamilton, who died Jan. 28 at age 77, was a conductor and arranger who was able to add “movie star” to his credits in the last years of his life. His work on Aretha Franklin’s 1972 “Amazing Grace” album — certified as the bestselling album of her career — was heard by millions over a period of almost five decades before Franklin fans actually got to see as well as hear Hamilton’s handiwork as the arranger and conductor of that music. When the film rendering of that recording finally came out in 2018, Hamilton loomed as nearly as large a personality on-screen as its ostensible stars, James Cleveland and Franklin herself.
The producer of the “Amazing Grace” film, Alan Elliott, shares his memories of Hamilton with Variety.
Until the discovery of the film of “Amazing Grace,” the genius of the work of Alexander Hamilton was not as well known as it is now.

In the six seasons of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” so far, we’ve seen dozens of queens return to the main stage to claim the crown they previously couldn’t, resulting in seven freshly combed wigs now bearing the weight of their sparkling tiara. (See the winner’s list.) But earning a spot in the Drag Race Hall of Fame isn’t the only reason why a queen might return. Some came back from early seasons to remind the audience of their talent and others jumped right back into it in the hopes of earning redemption from the sins of their first season. Now, as we look forward to the casting for Season 7 of the VH1/Paramount+ spin-off, we speculate at the reasons why these queens from each of the show’s 13 seasons might walk into the Werk Room one more time, all of which have not yet made it back.

We as Black artists tend to get pigeonholed. It’s challenging to fight to get out of that hole. People see your skin color and they assume that your specialty is working on Black people. It’s not a specialty, it’s who I am.” Earlier this year Mia Neal and Jamika Wilson (“Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom”) became the first Black makeup artists to win an Oscar. Only 10 contestants moved one step closer to their dream. On March 29, more show-stopping performances took place at the Dolby Theatre before the judges delivered their toughest decisions of season 19.

Chloe x Halle have been passed over by the Recording Academy for a second time. The music duo, consisting of sisters Chloe and Halle Bailey, had an exceedingly successful breakout year following the release of their sophomore album, Ungodly Hour, in June 2020. And yet, fans were unpleasantly surprised on Sunday when Chloe x Halle received not one win at the Grammy Awards.
The nominations should have been an early warning sign: Chloe x Halle were notably absent from the famed "Big Four" categories, including album of the year and song of the year. They were also snubbed from the R&b album category, which infamously only featured male performers. Instead, Chloe x Halle received nominations for best progressive R&b album, best traditional R&b performance, and best R&b song, and we now know they did not win any of the three.

After three episodes of a “RuPaul’s Drag Race” season 13 without a permanent elimination, we were excited to see the melodrama officially start with all 13 queens finally being in the werk room together to compete for the world’s most coveted crown. The reunion of the winning queens with the losing queens caused some friction among a few girls and ultimately led to one of them succumbing to challenge of the multi-faceted competition.
Last week the losing group from the season premiere challenge faced off in three runway walks and a group performance of Ru’s song “Phenomenon.” Denali and Rosé faced off in a “lip sync for the win” as the top two with Denali getting her first win under her belt. This week marked the first time the entire cast would be together and compete in a mini and maxi challenge in order to determine the first queen eliminated.

Johnny Mandel, the prolific composer and arranger who worked with Frank Sinatra, Count Basie, Barbra Streisand and more — and famously composed the theme song for M*A*S*H — has died, Variety reports. He was 94.
No specifics about Mandel’s death have been revealed. The news was shared by singer and friend Michael Feinstein on Facebook early Tuesday morning: “A dear friend and extraordinary composer-arranger and all-around brilliant talent Johnny Mandel just passed away. The world will never be quite the same without his humor, wit and wry view of life and the human condition.

Rhythm, Country and Blues, released on the McA Nashville label, featured combinations of like-minded artists, one from country and one from R&b, interpreting songs from both genres.
