He was a composer and writer, known for Enemy at the Gates (2001), Wenn der weiße Flieder wieder blüht (1929) and Ich habe im Mai von der Liebe geträumt (1927). He died on March 15, 1965 in Leverkusen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
