Christopher Meloni of TV’s Law & Order: Organized Crime believes the cover-up is often worse than the crime. So it’s not surprising that he’s transposed that philosphy to his workout wear.
In another classic Peloton video making the rounds, Meloni is seen working out in the nude, with a strategic blur box covering his naughty bits. The caption to the video: “We love all our Members…even those who observe interesting holidays #NationalNudeDay.”
“Apparently, some people think the way I work out is strange,” says a huffing Meloni. “Honestly I don’t get it. Me, I don’t think using the Peloton app is strange at all.”
Meloni goes on to reveal that he uses it for yoga, cardio, meditation, and strength training. “I even use the app for running,” he confesses. “Now, does that seem strange to you?”
The kicker is the solemn voiceover to end the video,...

Christopher Meloni is poking fun at his own predilection for working out in the buff with a newly released Peloton spot.
In the minute-long video created by Ryan Reynolds’ marketing agency Maximum Effort and shared to social media Thursday, the 61-year-old Law & Order: Organized Crime actor promotes the Peloton App. Timed to National Nude Day on July 14, a seemingly naked Meloni can be seen doing an assortment of different exercises, all while covered with appropriately placed pixelation.
“Apparently, some people think the way I work out is strange,” the star says in the footage. “Honestly, I don’t get it.” He then quips, “Me, I don’t think using the Peloton app is strange at all.”

As Dick Wolf, the prolific TV producer and creator of the hugely successful Law & Order and Chicago franchises, gets settled at our table at the Four Seasons in the Midtown neighborhood of New York City, longtime TV producer Mark Burnett stops by to say hello. During a quick exchange of pleasantries, the two joke that they should create a Wolf-Burnett network.
“We’d have too much product,” Wolf says with a chuckle. While a lighthearted exchange, the reality is that between the two of them, they have more than enough content for a 24-7 channel. For Wolf’s part, he has his two TV franchises, not to mention the many crime procedurals he’s created and produced over the years. Meanwhile, Burnett has The Apprentice, among many other shows. But it’s the reality show formerly hosted by President Donald Trump that sticks out, considering that any moment, around the corner at Trump Tower, he’s about...

In this roundup from the Encore and Mumbrella Annual, we look at the best radio stunts of the last 12 months.
1. Nova Sydney, Dangi
Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa brought the world’s smallest person, Nepal’s Chandra Bahadur Dangi, to Australia.
The house the Melbourne built
Partnering with property group Lend Lease and building development company Burbank, Mix101.1’s Jane and Chrissie gave away a house valued at $450,000.
3. Triple M Drive Time, Nullabor Nymph
The Nullarbor Nymph, directed by Matthew J Wilkinson, was destined for the Back-of-Bourke Film Festival (not a real festival) when Triple M’s Merrick and the Highway Patrol intervened to give the B-grade flick a sell-out red carpet premiere.
4. Nova Brisbane, Ash The Musical
Ash Bradnam: The Musical came about when the Nova presenter turned 40 and didn’t want anyone to ‘make a song and dance about it’. The show involved song parodies by the Nova team.

When a pro surfer comes home to care for his mother and ends up dead, it’s not only a botched robbery, but possibly an inside job. That convoluted sentence is the premise of tonight’s episode of Law & Order: Los Angeles, at least according to the synopsis. If you’re confused, I can’t blame you.
If there’s one good thing, we do get the original Steve Zirnkilton opening narration back, but still no titles, and we’re saddled with another pop-song intro before we visit a medical marijuana dispensery in Harbor City…and Rex and Tj find the dead surfer, Trevor Knight, in the back room. Oh, now I understand the robbery angle. A little research and our cops think they have a multiple-robbery crew on their hands.
“All the dispenseries are being serviced by one [security] company,” Rex notes, and one of the dispatchers at said company...

Count me as one of the people who rolled their eyes when NBC made the decision to axe the reinvigorated Law & Order right before it made TV history, only to replace it with this West Coast spinoff in the same timeslot. Why, I thought, do you get rid of a show that’s getting its second wind…and then why do you replace it with a version of itself? It seemed a slap in the face to Law & Order fans.
The show didn’t do itself any favors with its unorthodox opening sequence, which threw out the beloved Steve Zirnkilton narration in favor of just putting the show’s logo over a black-and-white map of the Los Angeles area and the beat of some pop music. In fact, it makes the unfortunate choice to bypass an opening sequence altogether, going for the now-commonplace tactic of running credits over the first act.

Long-running U.S. cop show "Law & Order" has been canceled after 20 years. Dick Wolf's highly-successful New York-based drama premiered in America in 1990 and went on to spawn two separate spin-offs - "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" and "Law & Order: Criminal Intent".
A Los Angeles-based "Law & Order" is still being planned. But the original has been scrapped. TV executives at NBC have decided not to take the original format into its 21st season, confirming to E! Online that the show has been axed.
"Law & Order" has narrowly missed out on being crowned the longest-running TV drama in history - it is currently tied with western Gunsmoke, which ran for 20 season before its finale in 1975.
"Law & Order" stars Steven Zirnkilton, S. Epatha Merkerson, Sam Waterston, Jerry Orbach and Steven Hill among others.

"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" star Christopher Meloni has secured his future on the cop drama following reports he was planning to quit the show. The actor admits he was wrong to suggest he was leaving the hit show in a recent interview with an Australian newspaper and should have chosen his words more carefully.
The TV star, who plays Det. Eliot Stabler on the show, says, "What I said was, 'When your contract is done... that will be the end. Because when your contract is done, it's usually the end'. I couched it incorrectly... I had one year on my contract. Our show hasn't been picked up. Those are the facts of the matter." But Meloni insists he'll stay with the show if it gets picked up.
