Joseph Patrick Abel
- Actor
Joseph Patrick Abel, or Joe as he's known to friends and family, was
born in New Jersey in April of 1980. Having attended the Verne Fowler
School of Acting, where he studied alongside of other notable names
such as Brittany Murphy, he began to pick up parts in local community &
children's theatre. His favorite roles include Louie in Neil Simon's
"Brighton Beach Memoirs" and Benjamin in "Joseph & the Amazing
Technicolor Dreamcoat". He is a great character actor - with the
ability to play almost any type of role - with comedy as his specialty.
When he began attending high school, he had a small part in a movie for
HBO in the 'Lifestory: Families in Crisis' series. Next was a hilarious
commercial to advertise the then-brand-new Teen People Magazine.
Finally, he won the role of Lenny in Barry Levinston's Liberty Heights (1999).
