Sonic Frontiers may have received generally mixed reviews, but the 2022 platform game sold more than 3 million copies. It is no surprise then that Sega is rumored to be working on Sonic Frontiers 2.
Popular leaker Daniel Richtman aka DanielRPK first shared the intel with Sonic fans on his Patreon. Shortly after, the rumor was corroborated by another known leaker, MbKKssTBhz5 aka Midori. They claimed that while the sequel would have a similar gameplay style, the name itself could change.
The tweet read,
“The title is a sequel to Frontiers in gameplay style. But the name might change. Frontiers was Rangers until it was announced.”

The fruit for patience is sweet and Persona fans are likely to get it, of course, if they are patient. The hit Sega video game series has been quite popular worldwide and has sold over 16 Million copies while generating around $350 Million in revenue. Now the developers are reportedly advancing to a new level which may well become a new record-breaker in the series.
But it could be miles away if the leaks are anything to go by. A reputable Sega insider who has been dishing out information about the franchise may have some news that may help the fans cheer up a little. Interestingly, the second wind brought in by the leaker could just be the thing they might have been waiting for with bated breath.

Persona 6 has started to feel like a myth, as Atlus does not seem to be getting over the success of the fifth mainline game in the series. Originally released in 2016, Persona 5 has had multiple variations through the years, such as a dancing rhythm title and even a tactical RPG launched just last year. The publisher is obsessed with Persona 3 and 5 to take part in any discussion regarding a sixth proper game in the franchise.
However, although there still has not been an announcement from Atlus, the latest leak is in regards to the potential setting of Persona 6, and it really shouldn’t be that surprising for fans of the series.
To No One’s Surprise, Persona 6 May Have a High School Setting Again
High school settings have become a staple of the franchise, and Persona 6 seems to be continuing the tradition.

Although considered by many academics as one of the best Japanese films of the 80s, and having won a number of awards in Japan, including the Grand Prix from the Young Cinema Grand Prize at the 1985 Tokyo Film Festival and Best Director from Three Continents in Nantes, “Typhoon Club” remains a relatively unknown film in the West.
Typhoon Club is screening at San Diego Asian Film Festival
The story revolves around a number of students attending a school at a suburb in Tokyo, and takes place on a five days span, mostly before and after a typhoon hits the place. Rie is the popular girl in the class, and has a rather strange relationship with Mikami, who is the male equivalent of hers. Both, however, hide some psychological issues, with Rie being filled with self-doubt and Mikami with dark philosophical thoughts, dealing with the way an individual can overcome his species,...

A timeless Daoist quote from the ancient Chinese scripture, the Zhuangzi, goes as follows: “I dreamed I was a butterfly, flitting around in the sky; then I awoke. Now I wonder: Am I a man who dreamt of being a butterfly, or am I a butterfly dreaming that I am a man?” The question has been contemplated time after time: What if our dreams are actually flitting fragments of reality? And what if the reality we experience in our waking hours is only an illusion?
This is the question that Kazuya Konkaku and ‘Perfect Blue’ screenwriter Sadayaki Murai explore through ‘The Dimension Travelers.’ Played by Chiharu Niiyama, highschool girl Midori is the film’s disillusioned protagonist. Midori is simply trying to make sense of her life: She finds school lackluster, her friends boring and her future bleak and uncertain. All of the sudden, a fresh new face enters her...

Quite a weird year for Japanese cinema, since there was no definite masterpiece this year, in the fashion of “Shoplifters” for example, while short and mid-length movies seem to have been rising intently in quality, a tendency that actually extended to a number of Asian countries, including Korea. At the same time, the “issues” of Japanese cinema, particularly the lack of mid-budget films and the “Koreeda style” of filmmaking that usually results in invitations to (big) festivals continue to happen, and along with the #MeToo movement hitting the industry quite hard, resulted in a year for local productions that is by no means great. At the same time, however, the size of the industry in terms of number of productions still gave way to a number of titles to stand out, 20 of which are to be found here. This time, the main criteria, besides the always present diversity, is films...

Spoiler Alert: This post contains plot details from the Season 2 finale of HBO Max’s The Sex Lives of College Girls
Everything is in shambles. Or, at least that’s how it seems after the Season 2 finale of The Sex Lives of College Girls. As the school year at Essex College came to a close, the four women at the center of the story seemed to be finishing their first year on a high note — until they weren’t.
Leighton [Reneé Rapp] broke up with her girlfriend, dropped her sorority and jumped head first back into a relationship with her ex, Alicia [Midori Francis]. She is, perhaps, the only one who seems to be in a good place by the end of the season (though rushing back into things with Alicia is bound to cause strife at some point).

Spoiler Alert: This post contains plot details for the Season 2 finale of HBO Max’s The Sex Lives of College Girls.
Another year has come and gone at Essex College. Season 2 of The Sex Lives of College Girls ended on a tumultuous note Thursday, as Leighton, Kimberly, Bela and Whitney finished up their first year at the elite private university.
If you’re feeling mixed emotions about how things went down, you’re not alone. Reneé Rapp — whose character Leighton quit her sorority, broke up with her girlfriend, and rekindled her romance with her former flame, Alicia [Midori Francis] — isn’t quite sure how she feels about it either.
“I mean, she has a lot going,” Rapp told Deadline during a recent interview ahead of the finale. Episode 8 ends with Leighton receiving a text from Alicia asking if they can reconnect after the pair broke things off in Season 1 because...

Back in the late 19th century, Japan started to modernize itself to catch up with the West and to raise its economic and military power. This effort however, had a significant impact to the country’s long lasting healthy ecosystem, with the extinction of the Japanese wolf being one of the consequences. Taking inspiration from this fact, Masakazu Kaneko pens and directs “Ring Wandering”, a rather interesting movie that unfolds on a number of levels.
“Ring Wandering” is screening on Fantasia International Film Festival
Sosuke is an aspiring manga artist, though for the moment he’s stuck doing heavy labor on construction jobs in central Tokyo. At the same time, he is trying to finish his manga about the battle of a hunter and a Japanese wolf taking place during the Russo-Japanese war. He is struggling however, particularly in drawing the animal, since no one has seen one for over a century.

Harry Shum Jr. is dancing his way into the operating room. The Glee alum is set to play resident Daniel "Blue" Kwan in season 19 of Grey's Anatomy, E! News can confirm. His character is described by ABC as "sharp-witted, impatient and brilliant." "He is generous by nature but competitive to a fault, naturally gifted, and used to winning at everything," the description continues. "A family crisis interfered with his career plans and now he's got a lot to prove." The latter sentence might explain why Harry's character is slightly older than the other first year medical residents, who are played by Adelaide Kane, Alexis Floyd, Niko Terho and Midori...
