Bobby Ash was born on November 5, 1924 in Walsall, Staffordshire, England, UK. He was an actor, known for Uncle Bobby (1964). He died on May 20, 2007 in Elliot Lake, Ontario, Canada.
He was known to Canadian children as "Uncle Bobby", host of one of
Canada's earliest children's TV shows. He started out as a comedian and
circus clown in the UK, before immigrating to Canada.
He wrote children's books in his later years, including a rhyming story
called "Corky the Clown's Halloween".
