“Put Captain Solo in the cargo hold—of my, uh…starship?”
Boba Fett’s signature Slave I ship has apparently lost its name in the official Star Wars canon, as indicated by Disney’s alleged recent request to the Lego company regarding a new toy rendition of the ship. Intriguingly, with the direction of merchandising—specifically toys—sometimes proving to be a leading indicator for imminent onscreen developments, it’s quite feasible that the revocation of the ship’s name might be confirmed onscreen on the bounty hunter’s upcoming Disney+ series, The Book of Boba Fett.
“Boba Fett’s Starship” is the generic name that will adorn the box of an upcoming Lego set (contrasting with previous releases) inspired by the hitherto Slave I’s exciting appearance on the second season of The Mandalorian. Indeed, Lego Star Wars team members Jens Kronvold Frederiksen and Michael Lee Stockwell recently let...

The Star Wars prequels have undergone a huge shift of opinion within the fandom over the past few years, and Jar Jar Binks is part of that. Many have forgiven the character who was once treated as a punching bag, and even those that have a problem with the goofy Gungan are big supporters of Ahmed Best, who gave the role his all and stands as a pioneer of motion capture performances.
In fact, a recent Twitter storm caused by Boba Fett actor Mark Anthony Austin shows just how much things have changed. Austin recently posted an old Bts image (see below) of Best in his Jar Jar get-up on set and wrote: “So glad I got cast as Boba Fett and not some other character,” along with a trio of crying laughter emojis. Clearly, someone didn’t get the memo that prequel-bashing isn’t cool anymore in 2020.

Tired of the same old alternative crap? Get yourself right with this hard-charging Dublin-based punk rock trio of Mark Austin (Vocals, Guitar), cousin Shane Kinsella (drums), and Tom Cosgrave (bass). They invested in some serious vintage amplification, honed their skills playing every dingy basement and back alley bar in Ireland that would have them, and have cemented a reputation as gig-thirsty monsters with tunes to match their impressive swagger. Audience interaction resembling the energy of hand to hand combat became the trademark of their shows and won them support slots with Supergrass, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, and The Von Bondies. Their self-titled Ep will released on February 14th via Model Citizen Records.

An innovative and inspiring project, which uses money raised from Sport Relief to help change lives, opened its doors to no less than 11 famous faces last week.
The celebrity group consisted of Sport Relief supporters actress Barbara Windsor, actors David Tennant, Tom Ellis and Daniel Rigby, presenters Andy Akinwolere, Lizzie Cundy and Mark Austin, choreographer Arlene Phillips, Model Lara Stone, former England cricket captain Claire Taylor and celebrity psychologist Dr Linda Papadopoulos. And each of them felt deeply moved after seeing just how Sport Relief cash can change lives.
The London-based project, called Body & Soul, provides crucial facilities and support for people affected by HIV. With over 91,000 people in the UK living with the virus, Sport Relief is supporting the organisation to create a safe haven for people living with HIV and educate the public on the unfair stigma based around the infection.
