Actors who missed the opportunity to audition for Star Wars: Episode VII are getting a second chance in the U.K., according to the BBC. Hopefuls may now try out online for two roles, detailed below, by visiting Cast It Talent's website.

Will the Force be strong in Chicago? Lucasfilm is setting its sights on the Windy City to find castmembers for its upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII, The Chicago Tribune reports. Casting director Maryellen Aviano will be in Chicago Nov. 14 in search of young actors to fill two roles. One will be for a female in the 17-18 range to play a character named Rachel. Are you a comic book fan? Ever dreamed of hearing Captain America shout out the clarion call, "Avengers Assemble!" Well, if you have some free time on your hands, and you live in the New Mexico area, you might have the opportunity to do just that. Marvel Studios Extras Casting Director Maryellen Aviano recently put out an open call for extras to appear in The Avengers, Marvel's super-team movie that will bring together the heroes (and villain?) from the Thor, Iron Man, Captain America and Hulk movies to face one threat too powerful and terrifying for any of the heroes to confront on their own. According to the announcement, shooting will begin in late-April and continue through late-July.
