- Ellen Bang was born on May 16, 1906 in Berlin, Germany. She was an actress, known for Das himmelblaue Abendkleid (1941), Die Stimme aus dem Äther (1939) and Maiden vs. Monk (1934). She died on November 8, 1981 in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.
- Before Ellen Bang first appeared in front of the camera at the age of 28, she was probably acting on stage.
- She was a very busy film interpreter in the Third Reich. Between 1934 and 1945, Ellen Bang played supporting roles in nearly thirty films. She covered the entire spectrum of small parts: from the secretary to the prima ballerina and English lady to a princess.
- Ellen Bang made her last appearance in 1951 in what was also the last production by cinema veteran Carl Froelich. After that, she completely disappeared from the public eye.
