Hitman, the stealth game franchise created by Io Interactive, is one of the most popular stealth franchises out there. The game follows a contract killer named Agent 47, who goes around the world assassinating various targets that he is assigned by the International Contract Agency.
As much as fans love the game and have respect for the developer, it has landed in hot water after it allegedly implied that the fictional contract killer Agent 47 was behind the alleged killing of Boeing whistleblowers, as the airplane maker gets more entangled in controversy.
Hitman Developer Is Facing Criticism Over a Tweet Hitman developer joins on the joke about Boeing, but gets criticized.
For those unaware, the airplane manufacturing company has been surrounded by controversy after a quality inspector named John Barnett and Joshua Dean, a quality auditor, who worked at the company, alleged that it has been overlooking safety failings that could be “catastrophic.

In anticipation of his new film, The Killer, coming to Netflix on November 10, I tip-toed through the tulips of my favorite director’s filmography and came away thinking that if David Fincher ever decided to fully wade into the waters of the horror genre?
We’d all be in deep shit. In the best of ways.
Here are the most messed up and depraved moments of David Fincher’s career… so far.
Hugging Ed Kemper – “Mindhunter” Season 1, Episode 10 (2017)
David Fincher has an amazing way of taking a simple moment and making it more intense than drinking Mountain Dew while snowboarding over a volcano. He made a movie about Facebook and it’s one of my all-time favorites for Christ’s sake.
In this scene, we have a simple conversation between two men in a hospital room that still somehow leaves you looking for Ray Finkle and a new pair of shorts.

Sometimes, all it takes is six words to ruin a good thing. “Adapted from the hit video game.” When it comes to film and TV, there are few phrases more ominous. And yet, since the early days of gaming, ill-fated live-action adaptations have kept popping up. Occasionally, the efforts have lived on in infamy: think of Bob Hoskins and John Leguizamo’s bafflingly misconceived Super Mario Bros. (1993). Or the gaudy, incomprehensible Assassin’s Creed (2016). Or Hitman – a game so nice, they adapted it twice (both times with truly execrable results). So when it was announced that HBO would be adapting The Last of Us, one of the most acclaimed video games ever made, into a new big budget TV series, it’s fair to say that even the most diehard fans had reason for trepidation.
On the surface, The Last of Us – a gritty post-apocalyptic road narrative about a jaded, grief-stricken...

Quiver Distribution is premiering a new trailer aimed squarely at action fans this Monday. The Bandit trailer presents a film about seemingly ordinary men up to no good. Based on the remarkable true story of the Flying Bandit, the film stars Josh Duhamel, Elisha Cuthbert, and Mel Gibson. Allan Ungar directs from a script written by Kraig Wenman.
The Bandit trailer teases the story of Gilbert Galvan Jr. (Josh Duhamel), a charismatic career criminal who uses more disguises than Hitman’s Agent 47 to rob banks in broad daylight. As Gilbert tumbles deeper down a robbery-driven rabbit hole, he discovers that his obsession will lead to his life falling into chaos if he doesn’t walk away while the getting is good.
Here’s the official logline for Bandit:
In 1985, Gilbert Galvan Jr (Josh Duhamel), a charming career criminal, escapes from a US prison in Michigan and crosses the border into Canada,...

On June 2017, the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (Dr) hosted three orchestral concerts called Galaxymphony which included some of the soundtrack from various space and sci-fi movies. This is their version of some of the Blade Runner soundtrack called 'The Blade Runner suite'. The concert was hosted by Jacob Stegelmann and it included voice-overs by David Bateson (Hitman/Agent 47) and conducted by Antony Hermus. The performance was orchestrated by The Danish National Symphony Orchestra with help from the 'Camerata' and 'Hymnia' choirs. -- Timestamps -- [0:00] - Main Titles [2:25] - Love Theme [6:13] - Tears in Rain I edited in the story introduction because I just couldn't help myself. Whoops. *Mild spoiler warning* The Suite includes some dialog from the...

Guardians Of The Galaxy director James Gunn reveals that he pitched to make a Hitman movie - but got turned down.
Hitman voice actor David Bateson recently revealed that he was disappointed with the decision to cast Timothy Olyphant as the first film version of Agent 47. In the process, he joined a legion of Hitman fans who have found themselves disappointed with one aspect of the Hitman movies or another. It seems that Hollywood just can't get gaming's greatest assassin right.
The quality of the Hitman films we've received thus far is somehow made even worse by the revelation that Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn almost helmed a Hitman adaptation of his dreams.
Recently, Gunn was asked on Twitter which video game he believes he could turn into a good movie. He replied with the following:
I tried to make a Hitman movie a few years ago.

Through press release means, Square Enix has announced that, much like Sleeping Dogs before it, Io Interactive’s Hitman: Absolution features a recognizable celebrity cast.
In fact, found within the list of actors who lent themselves to the game through motion capture and recording devices, sits Powers Boothe, along with Keith Carradine, Vivica A. Fox and Shannyn Sossamon. They may not be some of Hollywood’s elite these days, but they’re quality actors nonetheless, and their inclusion should lend a lot of authenticity to the assassination-focused title.
For more information regarding November’s Hitman: Absolution and its voice cast, check out the following release:
Copenhagen (October 25, 2012) – Io Interactive A/S, a Square Enix studio, today reveals the stunning main cast of Hitman: Absolution. This very talented group of well known Hollywood actors was brought together to fulfill Hitman: Absolution’s cinematic storytelling ambition.

"Hitman 5" came up more than a year ago in reference to source material for a movie sequel in a Variety story. At the time it sounded like we might see a new game in 2010, but it's probably safe to assume that that's off the table now. Still, actor David Bateson, who's provided Agent 47's voice in the past, seems to know something about a new installment, even if Io Interactive admits to nothing.
"I have to plead the 5th Amendment on this one," Bateson told TheGamingLiberty.com when asked about "Hitman 5." "I am under contract not to say anything. There have been delays. However, like I said earlier, if the artwork is anything to go by...brace yourself!"
For someone under contract not to say anything, that sure is something. Alas, Io Interactive denies that they've got anything, game sequel or otherwise, in the works with him.

The voice actor for Agent 47 has mentioned a fifth game in the Hitman series. In an interview with The Gaming Liberty (via Eurogamer), David Bateson said that the next release in the series will be "gob smacking". "I have been overwhelmingly gratified and humbled by the sheer dedication to the Hitman franchise that the fans have expressed," he said. "For all the kind things that have been said, I am truly thankful. That kind of dedication and appreciation of the game deserves repayment... with an even more gob (more)...

From Screen Rant:
A few weeks back the name Joseph Gatt made headlines everywhere when it was reported that he had been cast into a “secret role” for the upcoming Thor movie. We knew nothing more about it other than his history of work on some major video game titles and a few roles on TV and in several films. We had that and some guesses as to which character from the Thor comics he could be playing.
I had a chance to speak with Joe Gatt over the holidays and briefly again on Monday after the first day of Thor’s principal photography where I tried to get some hints on what character he could be playing in the movie, whether or not he could be involved in the game and if he could play the part of Kratos in the God of War movie. In our discussion, we...
