Caroline Berg Eriksen made a splash online after sharing a photo of herself posing in lingerie, showing off her flat abs and toned body, only 4 days after giving birth.
Caroline Berg Erikson Claims Post-Baby Six Pack
Eriksen, a Norwegian fitness blogger, who also writes about fashion and other lifestyle topics, posted the photo with the caption, “I feel so empty… 4 days after birth.”
Eriksen, 26, later explained that she posted the picture because she missed her baby bump, which was barely there to begin with. During her pregnancy, Eriksen only gained a reported 22 pounds.
“During the pregnancy, people kept telling me that my body will never be the same and I wanted to show everybody that’s not entirely true,” Eriksen told ABC News.
Fat Shaming?
Bloggers and online commentators have bashed Eriksen for ‘fat shaming’ fellow mothers and setting an unhealthy precedent for young women, with one even calling the photo an “act of war.
