She has been both a panelist at the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (2008 for a panel on the award-winning project "John Adams" as well as a keynote presenter for her ground-breaking "Audition Domination" talk to the Academy Performers Peer group as well as a member of the TV Academy Executive Committee for Casting Directors. In 2007, Amy was the keynote speaker at the commencement for her undergraduate alma mater Buffalo State College.
