- John Bingham was the writing name of John Michael Ward Bingham, Lord Clanmorris, British Defense official, picture editor/feature writer, and novelist. Between 1951 and 1977 he wrote a total of 17 crime novels and espionage thrillers. He also wrote as Michael Ward.
