ITV has commissioned new drama The Forgotten.
The six-part series from Mainstreet Pictures will centre on a 39-year-old cold case that's reopened following the discovery of a skeleton buried underneath a cellar.
An extensive investigation is led by Dci Cassie Stuart and Di Sunil 'Sunny' Khan that spans the country and delves back in time to find the killer.
Chris Lang (Undeniable, A Mother's Son) writes the series and Tim Bradley (Teachers, Primeval) produces.
ITV's Director of Drama Steve November said: "The Forgotten will look at how an historic police investigation affects the lives of all those touched by it.
"Lang's scripts are wonderfully compelling as the mystery deepens and the police hunt for the killer intensifies."
BBC Worldwide has claimed the global distribution rights for the series.
The Forgotten will begin filming in March 2015, with casting due to take place later in the year.

Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao reclaimed his Wbo welterweight title Saturday night in Las Vegas after decisively defeating reigning champion Timothy Bradley.
Manny Pacquiao Wins Back Title
Pacquiao, 35, who many thought was past his prime, received winning scores from all three judges – two had the scores down as 116-112 and one had the bout marked 118-110. Pacquiao’s record is now 56-5.
Two years ago, Bradley controversially beat Pacquiao by split decision. Pacquiao went on to get knocked out in his follow up match against Juan Manuel Marquez, but started to see an upswing last November when he was able to best up-and-comer Brandon Rios.
Bradley, the American boxer who was previously undefeated, graciously accepted his defeat to Pacquiao."I tried, I really tried," Bradley said after the match, according to USA Today Sports. "I really wanted that knockout. Manny is a great fighter, one of the best in the world.

EA Image from Fight Night Champion
It’s 2011, and we live in a world of 3-D and motion controllers. That’s what makes Fight Night Champion a disappointing game. The fifth Fight Night title for EA Sports Canada, it adds a shiny new exoskeleton to the previous version and marries brute-force gaming with a movie-like storyline. The rags-to-riches-to-rags-to-riches tale of fighter Andre Bishop is somewhat engaging and adds a much-needed twist to what has become a somewhat tired franchise. But...

Here's a grat collection of screenshots and a few trailers from the new boxing video game Fight Night: Champion show you the detailed realistic damage that you can inflict on your boxing oponent. I've always been a big fan of these Fight Night games, and it looks like they've once again taken it to a whole new level bloody boxing carnage.
The single-player mode is intended to recreate the dramatic and emotional aspects of the sport.
A new mode called "Champion Mode" will be featured in the game. It revolves around a storyline which follows a boxer named Andre Bishop. Most other modes, such as Legacy Mode (the career mode of the series) are expected to return.
EA is promising a refined physics-based animation system and a new "Full Spectrum Punch Control" scheme. There will also be a demo launching on both Xbox Live and Psn on the 1st of February.

Primeval producer Tim Bradley has revealed details of the two new characters joining the show's regular cast. He explained to SFX that field leader Matt Anderson (Ciaran McMenamin) would be "an animal expert". "He's the sort of guy who's wrestled tigers in the jungle, but also understands the biology of them too," said Bradley. "He knows how to track a creature without killing it and like [former leader] Nick Cutter, he has the [knowledge of] science." (more)...

Primeval producer Tim Bradley has dropped some hints about the new series. Speaking to SFX, Bradley explained that the Anomaly Research Centre will be "under new management" when the show returns. "The disappearance of key personnel has left Lester a bit stranded," he said. "So the old team is joined by new characters who deal with the situations that happened off camera between the two years." Bradley also dropped some hints about Alexander Siddig's new character, venture capitalist Philip Burton. "He's been brought in to finance the new Arc set-up," he explained. "One of his main (more)...
