- Co-hosted the 50-50 Club with Ruth Lyons (WLW-T, Cincinnati) and hosted, between 1963 and 1966. Hosted The Bob Braun Show (WLW-T, CIncinnati) from 1967 until 1984. The show was the number-one-rated live entertainment/information program in the Midwest.
- (October 24, 1976) Braun co-hosted with Bob Hope an All-Star performance at Riverfront Stadium, to benefit the Bob Hope House, labeled the 'home away from home for boys'. Amongst the celebrities were Roy Clark, Wayne Newton, Ben Vareen, Lynn Anderson, Enzio Stuarti, Pearl Bailey, Johnny Bench, and Dorothy K. Benham (Miss America 1977) and Hope's wife Delores. The program began fifteen minutes late due to a traffic jam with 10,000 fans attending. The benefit ended with the burning of a $100,000 mortgage to pay off the project.
- (January 30, 1973) Provided entertainment, along with his weekday co-stars, at the 134th Annual Dinner Meeting of the Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce at the Hotel Netherland Hilton. Bill Hayes of NBC's Days of Our Lives, also co-hosted.
- (06/11/1973) Performed as Emcee for the Bogie Buster's Multiple Sclerosis Fundraiser at the University of Dayton (OH) Arena for the third consecutive year. Other celebrities who participated in this event were Lawrence Welk, Harvey Korman, Foster Brooks, Marilyn Maye, McLean Stevenson, Joe (Sheriff) Higgins, the Dazzlers, and the Les Brown Band.

- (09/12/1974) Hosted special version of his daytime TV program (non televised) along with his Fun Bunch panelists of Gwen Conley, Rob Reider, Randy Weidner and the Cliff Lash Orchestra at the Cincinnati Northgate Mall.
- (12/02/1974) The University of Dayton (Ohio) arena hosted a performance of nationally known personalities for the Xenia (Ohio) Tornado Relief Benefit. Appearing were Bob Hope, Phyllis McGuire, Helen O'Connell, Maureen McGovern, Debbie Wilson, Teresa Brewer, Nancy Wilson, Debbie Reynolds, yodeling cowboy Kenny Roberts, and magic act Tom & Sherry. Bob Braun will be Master of Ceremonies and the Cliff Lash Band will provide the music. Dave Richley is Chairman of the show, which is expected to draw 10,000 in the audience.
- (03/11/1972) Emceed fashion show for Gidding-Jenny at the Cincinnati Castle House Boutique , proceeds from which will go to the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music.
- (03/01/1972) Emceed the 50th anniversary of the Miss WLW Pageant in the Hall of Mirrors, Netherland Hilton Hotel, Cincinnati. The finals comprised 15 young women out of nearly 500 who entered. An audience of 800 watched the proceedings.
- (03/09/1972) Emceed Fashion Scope at Cincinnati's Lookout House under the sponsorship of the Hope College Guild. The event was attended by 530 women.
- (03/04/1972) Emceed the 1972 reception and ball of the Syrian Shrine Temple commemorating 100 years of Shrinedom in North America and 50 years of Shrine sponsorship of crippled children's hospitals across North America. The event was held in the Netherland-Hilton Pavilion Caprice and Hall of Mirrors and was attended by 1300 people.

- (01/27/1971) To assist partnerless play-by-play announcer Dom Valentino, Braun did six minutes of play-by-play for the Cincinnati Royals NBA professional basketball team. The Royals moved to Kansas City a couple of years later.

- (01/09/1971) Bob Braun's 50-50 TV Program has named Cincinnati Bengal's NFL punter Dave Lewis as its Bengal of the Year. Braun presented a huge trophy adorned with a gold football. Lewis finished first in the NFL with a punting average of 45.6 yards per kick.
