Sol K. Bright(1919-1992)

Songwriter ("Polynesian Love Song"), composer, author, producer,
director, and entertainer, educated at Saint Louis College in Honolulu.
He produced, directed and entertained in night clubs, hotels, and
steamship shows. He served in the USMS during World War II. He
produced, directed and performed in "Hawaiian Revue" (1962), and in
"Treasure of Hawaii" (1964), both shows touring Japan. He also made
appearances on radio, films, and television. Joining ASCAP in 1959, his
other song compositions include "Hawaiian Cowboy", "Sophisticated
Hula", "Lovely Sapphire of the Tropics", and "Duke Kahanamoku".
