- Started an investment and real estate company in 2001, assisting union members with mortgage, real estate, and tax- and risk-free investing.
- Retiring from the movie and television industry due to career-ending back surgeries, Al now runs a successful real estate and financial services firm based in Boston, MA, and Marina del Rey, CA. Leveraging his knowledge of the industry, he and his team have assisted actors and studio workers on both coasts with the buying/selling of their homes, as well as providing financial advice and setting up tax-free and risk-free retirement plans.
- While working as a set lighting technician on the Salma Hayek/Russell Crowe film "Breaking Up," Al was chosen to have a speaking role with Russell Crowe in the "photography studio scene." Unfortunately, the scene did not make the final cut of the film.
- Attended Crespi Carmelite High School in Encino, CA (class of 1986). Classmate of: Jason Waggoner ('86), President of Star Waggons; John "The Duke" Wayne's grandsons; Brendan Wayne, the "Manolorian" Mike Cathcart, son of Peggy Lennon Joe Cathcart, son of Peggy Lennon and guitarist in the rock band "Nelson).
