- Hal Buckley was born on September 9, 1934 in Norwalk, Connecticut, USA. He was an actor, known for Kelly's Heroes (1970), Camera Three (1955) and O.K. Crackerby! (1965). He died on March 17, 1986 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
- Buckley was co-owner of a popular Beverly Hills eatery called the Cafe Four Oaks. For Thanksgiving 1968, he hosted a free turkey dinner for fifty African-American orphans. He asked several notable Hollywood stars to attend. The only one who showed was Steve McQueen.
