Now we're talkin'!
Events have slowly been toying with the idea that at some point our characters would reach the point of no return, and Colony Season 2 Episode 9 appeared to be that point.
No matter how hard Gracie cries, there's no going back for the Bowman family.
Colony Season 2 has been fielding the changing perspective within the Bowman family about what it means to survive the occupation.
Will needed to get a taste of the world outside the wall to fully appreciate just how rotten things were on the planet he once loved, and Katie needed to step back and reassess the violent decisions she was making and the impact they had on her family.
As far apart as Will and Katie's ideas of pulling their family back together may have seemed during Colony Season 1, after some consideration, they realized they weren't as far off each other's marks as originally thought.

The resistance is one man smaller, and it was already a mere trio.
Oh how I hate to use this term, but Colony Season 2 Episode 6 was a transitional hour.
Things were heating up with what's left of the resistance; we were given a sneak peek into the boxes shipping to the Global Authority and learned Nolan doesn't know that much about The Greatest Day.
I'm sorry I missed an episode, but illness overtook me, and I wasn't even moving. Sadly, it was the one in which we lost Thora Birch as Morgan and had her replaced with Bethany Joy Lenz. What a joy, indeed!
Lenz gives the character some much-needed oomph, and the trio finally feels like a reasonable group for Broussard to be leaning on for his technical support.
Even as I write that, though, I wonder why it never occurred to any of them that alien tech might...

TimeshifTV, a new entry into the U.S. home entertainment services market, is targeting people who enjoy television in languages other than English. The subscription-based service initially will be offered as a set-top box that uses the Internet to deliver the viewer's choice of programming and make it available for watching whenever the consumer wishes. Its parent company, Broadband Networks Inc., will initially offer the TimeshifTV service with programming in Spanish, Hindi, the two main variants of Chinese, French, Italian, Japanese, Polish and Korean. Broadband Networks CEO Bob Burke said this selection will cover most of the 62 million U.S. residents who do not speak English as a first language.
