Apple Maps will drive you fifty miles in the wrong direction, to the middle of nowhere, and tell you that it's the mall. But apparently it can find a legendary monster that has evaded scientists and conspiracy theorists for decades. That's what the Official Loch Ness Monster Fan Club is claiming. Gary Campbell, accountant by day and president of the Loch Ness Fan Club by night, claims this image, which is visible on iPad and iPhone maps just south of Dores, depicts the "ghostly white silhouette" and "large flippers" of Nessie. Washington, April 22: An odd image spotted on Apple Maps, which some say proves existence of Loch Ness monster, may just be a boat wake.
Amateur Loch Ness Monster enthusiasts, whose Fan Club founder Gary Campbell has spoken much about the now-viral image, which his organization has been studying for months, Tech Crunch reported.
He said that the ripple in the image looks like a boat wake, but the boat is missing, asserting that some boats are moored at the shore, but there isn't one present near ripple.
The satellite image, which was discovered in Apple's mapping program, shows a sizable ripple in the water, similar.

A lack of Loch Ness Monster, or ‘Nessie,’ sightings in the past year has believers questioning whether or not Nessie is still alive.
Gary Campbell, an accountant, has spent the last 17 years logging reported sightings of the Loch Ness Monster and is somewhat of an expert on the mythic lake monster. Campbell has become disturbed by the lack of Nessie sightings in the past 18 months, telling BBC News that there hasn’t been a year without any confirmed sightings since 1925.
“It’s very upsetting news and we don’t know where she’s gone. The number of sightings has been reducing since the turn of the century but this is the first time in almost 90 years that Nessie wasn’t seen at all,” Campbell said.
Campbell, who stated that there have been over 1,000 sightings in recorded history, including a few in 2012, hopes that Nessie is not dead, but simply gone...

The president of the Official Loch Ness Monster Fan Club has said that reports of the creature's death have been greatly exaggerated. Gary Campbell said that he was concerned until Nessie was spotted near the Clansman Hotel on June 6 last year, The Daily Telegraph reports. Campbell said: "That's why were so relieved to have heard about this sighting. In June, when it was reported, nobody had seen anything for a year. If it hadn't been for that one, we would have been really, really worried. "Ten years ago we had a lot of good sightings, but in the last two or three years, they have tailed off. (more)...
