Today’s film is the 2005 short Robin’s Big Date. The film is directed by James Duffy, and written by Will Carlough, and stars Josh Hamilton, Callie Thorne, Justin Long, and Sam Rockwell. Rockwell has been a veteran supporting presence for much of his career, with two eye-catching performances in 1999, in the drama The Green Mile and the comedy Galaxy Quest proving his versatility to many beyond any doubt. His newest feature, The Way, Way Back, opens in limited release in American theatres this weekend.

The anticipated ensemble comedy Movie 43 hits theatres next weekend, and with possibly the biggest and best assembled cast of all time, we didn’t think things could get much bigger or better. But this latest TV spot reveals something that makes it that much more of a must-see comedy: Seth MacFarlane.
We were treated to a great new TV spot yesterday, giving us sixty seconds of comedy goodness, and this new TV spot brings with it new footage aplenty, including a look at Seth MacFarlane, Common, Dennis Quaid, and Greg Kinnear, with the involvement of all four being until-now unannounced. Which begs the question, do we have more surprises in store for us when Movie 43 lands next week?

With probably the biggest and best ensemble cast ever assembled, we’ve got a lot to look forward to with the release of Movie 43 next weekend.
All we’ve seen from the film so far suggests it’s going to be comedy gold (leprechaun pun not intended), with the latest two TV spots surfacing last week. And now Momentum have released another spot, giving us 60 seconds of Movie 43 goodness.
“Once you see it, you can’t unsee it.
From the twisted minds of producers Peter Farrelly (Hall Pass, Shallow Hal) and Charles Wessler (There’s Something About Mary, Dumb & Dumber), comes Movie 43– the outrageous new ensemble comedy starring some of the biggest names in Hollywood. Movie 43 is not for the easily-offended and contains jaw-dropping, sometimes shockingly disturbing, but always entertaining intertwined storylines you’ll have to see to believe.”

Movie 43 has quite possibly the biggest and best cast of all time, with the ensemble comedy featuring the likes of Emma Stone, Hugh Jackman, Johnny Knoxville, Anna Faris, Jason Sudeikis, Elizabeth Banks, and many, many more.
We caught two new UK posters just in time for Christmas, and now two new TV spots have made their way online, giving us another great look at what should be an awesome comedy before it hits theatres in two weeks’ time.

Movie 43 has undeniably one of the greatest and largest ensemble casts of any comedy ever. We’ve seen plenty from the movie already to suggest it’s going to be a lot of fun next year, earning its R-rating and then some.
Last month treated us to a great new red-band preview, red-band featurette, and a new poster, and now we’ve had the two variants of the UK poster sent over to share.

Movie 43 has by far the biggest and best ensemble cast of any film I can remember, and with such awesome talent both behind and in front of the camera, it promises to be one of the funniest films of next year.
We saw a great new red-band featurette last week, and now a new international poster has debuted online, following the slightly unimaginative poster we saw earlier in the month.

Movie 43 features quite possibly the best ensemble cast of any comedy ever, and with the film hitting theatres in just over two months’ time, its campaign has been gearing up nicely in recent weeks.
We’ve already seen a great new red-band preview for the film earlier this month, followed by a new poster, and now IGN have released a new red-band featurette, giving us another look at what we have to look forward to.

With quite possibly the biggest and best ensemble cast of any comedy ever made, Movie 43 has a lot of potential for the New Year.
Due out at the tail-end of January in the Us, we’ve seen enough from the film already – most recently with a new red-band preview – to suggest it’s going to be a lot of fun, and now EW have debuted a new poster, featuring the friendly faces of just a small selection of its fantastic cast.

Movie 43 has by far one of the best ensemble casts of any comedy in recent memory, and more than that, it has a terrific roster of directors at the helm for what promises to be a brilliant comedy in the New Year.
We most recently saw the film’s green-band trailer last month, and now Yahoo Movies have debuted a new red-band preview, which is, as you can imagine, highly unsuitable for work.

With quite probably the best ensemble cast of all time, and a slew of brilliant filmmakers behind the camera, Movie 43 has a lot of potential to be one of the year’s best comedies next year.
With a list of cast, writers, and directors longer than I can ever remember, it’s safe to say this is almost definitely going to be brilliant, and following the release of the red-band trailer a few weeks back, the green-band trailer has now landed.
Naturally, the red-band trailer has the edge over the suitable-for-work version, but it’s still very much promising hilarity and all-round brilliance.

It’s one of those great unanswered questions that has bothered cinemagoers for years like what is in the briefcase in Pulp Fiction? or what does Bill Murray whisper to Scarlett Johansson at the end of Lost In Translation? For the past 26 years many film fans have wanted to know how did Doc Brown and Marty McFly meet and become friends prior to the beginning of Back To The Future?
When the very same question was posed this week by Brett Savage on the Mental Floss blog a number of people stepped forward with their own theories and back stories for the relationship before a surprise reply came from someone who is more than qualified to answer the question with a degree of authority and certainty.
Bob Gale, co-writer and co-creator of the film sent in this response;

Hollywood number crunchers, mainstream comic geeks, and men-in-tights fetishists are proving that (while superheros do indeed die) the death of the superhero genre is more than a ways off. Meanwhile, web series creators are proving the genre is ripe for satire. For those who enjoy Return to Supermans and Italian Spiderman at least as much The Dark Knight or the latest Spiderman sequel, the British comedy duo of Matlock and Badshelter have another fantastic comic book spoof for you. From a secret flat in South London come The Very Real Adventures of Batman and Robin. What Will Carlough and Erik Sofge did to normalize vampires in Blood Brothers, Jamie Lennox and Louis Waymouth do to turn the caped crusader and his boy wonder into everyday Joes in The Very Real Adventures. They also throw in a hint of SNL’s Ambiguously Gay Duo amidst live-action sequences and minimal, but effective,...

Atom.com rolled out another raunchy and offbeat comedy web series last week, proving that penis jokes and sex talk are still surefire ways to crank out views. My Best Friend is My Penis, stars Jonathan Togo (CSI: Miami) and Will Carlough in a buddy story that's both original and all too familiar — a man (Togo) who's best friend (Carlough) is literally his wise-cracking male appendage named "Will." As is typical with some of the hotter series on Viacom-owned Atom, the series will air on Comedy Central's weekly late-night half hour AtomTV block on December 8th. Togo and Carlough wrote the series and produced along with the new media division at Crossroads Films. Carlough is a longtime Atom video auteur known for a number of breakouts including his "Tarkin 'n Friends," which took the prize for Best comedy in the 2008 Star Wars Movie Challenge. I caught up with Will to...
