The younger of
Enrico Caruso's two sons by his long-time relationship with
soprano Ada Giachetti (Giachetti was already married, though seperated
from her husband, and divorce was illegal in Italy at that time),
handsome Enrico Caruso, Jr., was a teenager attending military school
in America when his father died. After an attempt at becoming a
singer/actor himself, he moved on to the business world, becoming a
successful investment banker. At the time of his death, he had just
completed the book "Enrico Caruso: My Father and My Family." It had
taken him more than twenty years to research and write the book, which
was highly praised by both fans and critics.
