We all love pizza right? Sometimes there’s nothing better than kicking back on a lazy weekend evening, sinking some beers and ordering from your nearest pizza joint. Sometimes the service can be quite lousy, but every now and then they go above and beyond to deliver customer satisfaction. Thankfully, John over at Country Girl Pizza does exactly just that. John, played by John Holmes (Eruption, Johnny Wadd) not only provides you with inches of pleasure (the puns in the film are worse), but also uses his pizza parlour as a front for his escort service. Yep, it’s service with a smile and happy ending if you’re willing to tip! His hot pant and rollerblading clad staff include Gina, Shakey, Celeste and bubbly newcomer Ann Chovy (get it?) played by...

Tropic of Desire
It’s approaching the end of World War 2. Georgina Spelvin (The Devil in Miss Jones) plays as Frances, a madam of a small tropical island whore house. She caters for the constant stream of American sailors. One day Rita, one of her girls played by Kitty Shane (Vista Valley PTA) finds out that the love of her life has died in battle. Dsitraught, she heads back to San Fransisco. Soon after leaving, a trio of marines returning after a tour on the ocean arrive to get some downtime. One of them is Gus played by Ken Scudder (Hotline, Getting Off), a sailor whose heart belongs to Rita. He takes the news of her departure terribly and drowns his sorrows at the bar. It’s not all doom and gloom though as the other two, Jack and Phil played by Jon Martin (The Jade Pussycat) and Blair Harris (Expectations,...

“A shipwrecked World War II sailor comes to the rescue of two American nurses held in the clutches of a twisted Nazi officer and his three female assistants on a deserted South Pacific island.”
Once again, we find ourselves looking at a film that could be labeled as a piece of Nazisploitation, Prisoner of Paradise. This time around we have the likes of Seka, John Holmes and Bob Chinn, so I’m sure your interest is peaked just as much as mine. It’s John Holmes against the Nazis. How this DVD made it through German customs is beyond me. Let’s stop babbling and enjoy another episode of Mondo Squallido.

Stars: Sharon Thorpe, John Leslie, Lesllie Bovee, John Holmes, Annette Haven, Desiree West | Written and Directed by Alan Colberg
Sharon Thorpe (Sexworld, Candy Stripers) plays as the beautiful and mysterious Black Widow who has a habit of murdering unsuspecting customers in the comfort of her own nicely decorated S&M club (I appreciate my sadists having good taste) with poison, just like a Black Widow spider. When poor old nymphomaniac Tom, played by John Leslie (Exposed, Vista Valley PTA) falls foul to Black Widow’s hobby, his sister Jean, played by the lovely Lesllie Bovee (Eruption, Maraschino Cherry) turns to the only man for the job… The one and only Johnny Wadd who is of course played by the big man himself, John Holmes (Aunt Peg, Marina Vice).
On his investigations he meets Tom’s wife Pat who is played by Annette Haven (Barbara Broadcast, Lady Freaks) and the wife of another victim Cindy Benton,...

Underneath the neon headline 'Harry Who' is a black and white portrait of a behooded, scraggly Daniel Radcliffe, looking about as distant as he possibly could from the boy wizard who made him a household name. This is the New York Times Magazine cover October 2013 that is currently nominated for an award from the American Society of Magazine Editors. Radcliffe's cover is up against 55 others in the Entertainment and Celebrity category readers can vote by liking the cover on Facebook.
