- Survived by two daughters: Mrs. Jules Marcus and Miss Yolanda Coccia.
- In his autobiography (Astaire, "Steps in Time" pp. 43-44), Fred Astaire remarks that Aurelio Coccia was his greatest influence and dance mentor. Under the management of their relentless stage mother, in 1913 Fred and sister Adele started training with Coccia. He threw out the routine that the Astaires had been using and gave them much higher quality dance routines which they used on the vaudeville circuits right up until they went on Broadway in 1917.
