Producers of Amazon’s adaptation of Mad Dogs toyed with the idea of having the killer wear a Donald Trump mask. In the original British series, the killer wears a Tony Blair mask. “We thought about who it could be and went through various machinations and various ideas we realized would get us into terrible trouble,” original Brit series creator Chris Cole told TV critics this morning at TCA. “It was going to be a mini Michael Jackson, but that was taken off the table…...

Rainn Wilson, the man responsible for Dwight Schrute (and likely many of your favorite quotes), spent part of his Sunday promoting his new memoir, The Bassoon King, via Reddit. Out now, the book involves Wilson's rise from struggling New York nobody to success, and details "big ideas about faith and God and life and failure" — plus, he stresses, it has tons of pictures! As is tradition in his Ama sessions, the actor dished on a wide range of topics, which this round included the content of Bassoon King, more Office trivia, the upcoming presidential election, and the Bahá’í faith he grew up in, among other things. Read on for the highlights:Where did Dwight's haircut come from? I tried to purposefully create the Ugliest haircut I could possibly design for my ungainly enormous head and forehead.I also stole that from McKenzie crook who played Gareth. He gave him a terrible haircut.

It’s official: the next Tony Hawk-branded video game will, indeed, be called Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5. Not only that, but it’s being developed with a keen eye on returning to what made the series popular in the first place. That means there won’t be any more motion-controlled peripherals or gimmicks, which is great news and a definite relief. That said, it has been noted that skaters will be able to shoot projectiles (for certain objectives) and use power-ups – two things that hopefully won’t ruin the gameplay.
The reveal today comes to us from Game Informer, who published a first look at Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 earlier this morning. Therein, it was confirmed that the game will be released this year on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, with last-gen (PS3 and Xbox 360) versions also planned for release sometime after that.

The Legend of Zelda’s Link, Super Mario Bros.' Mario, and some other video game friends pull off some serious and some silly skateboarding tricks in this parody. The video was done by flatground skateboarding wizard and Kenny Anderson clone Christopher Chann, who is the one dressed up as Link. Chann pulled off an incredible upset in the first round of Battle at The Berrics 7, winning over former champ Chris Cole. The remix of the Legend of Zelda theme featured in the video was done by Fenzy Music.

Tottenham Hotspur Football Club have had some great players in the Premier League era but, when you actually go to list them, very few of those who spring to mind as the very best of the bunch are English. Jurgen Klinsmann, Christian Ziege, David Ginola, Dimitar Berbatov, Luka Modric, Rafael van der Vaart, Gareth Bale, Hugo Lloris, Jan Vertonghen and Christian Eriksen are the types of player who stand out as Spurs superstars from recent years, but that really is underselling the English talent they’ve had on display in that time.
In fact, Spurs have been incredibly faithful to English players in the Premier League years – much more so than most of the Premier League’s teams, particularly those at the top end of the table.
Consequently, several English players have in fact been stand-out performers at White Hart Lane – and that goes for players...

Dedicated television viewers know that there will always be shows that everyone wants you to watch, either it’s a cult show, a show that ended way before it’s time, or seems to grab everyone’s attention but yours. However many viewers find themselves stumbling upon these shows either years later or late into a shows run. I’ve compiled a list of ten shows, published once a week, that have become classics or are on their way to doing so and have recently been discovered by this writer.

In my PSOne playing days there were a handful of games that got constant rotation in the CD drive – Re-Volt, Pandemonium 2, No Fear Downhill Mountain Biking, World’s Wildest Police Chases, Spider-Man and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater (and it’s immediate sequel). So when I heard that a HD update of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater was coming to console my heart skipped a beat. After all, I loved the original games, but had they aged badly? Would a HD remake do the original “memories” justice? And would this HD remake be as bad as some of the others we’ve had recently?
Well the answer are (in order): No; Yes; No.
If you’ve played the modern iterations of the Tony Hawk franchise you’ll know just how lame the recent entries have been and it turns out that despite attempts at changing up the gameplay (such...

Jessica Szohr recently shocked fans of the long-running CW soap opera Gossip Girl when her character Vanessa Abrams left Manhattan and she left the show but the 26-year-old actress stayed busy with a headliner role in the upcoming horror comedy Love Bite. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Szohr joined Ed Speleers (Eragon) and Luke Pasqualino (The Borgias) as friends in a small town battling a virgins-eating werewolf by plotting to lose their virginity. Pelican Blood, which had its world premiere at the Edinburgh Film Festival, is an interesting attempt at making a film about the life and loves of an obsessive birdwatcher and while they try to make the film as cool and sexy as it can be, I found this film to be an overall disappointment due to a basic premise and having an uninspiring story that does not really offer anything new.
Nikko (Harry Treadaway) is a rebellious young man whose destructive attitude is juxtaposed nicely with his hobby as an obsessive birdwatcher, and during the course of the film we see him managing to cope with his recent suicide attempt and build a relationship with anti-animal cruelty campaigner Stevie (Emma Booth).
As we see the two love interests trying to build up their relationship and cope with their own personal difficulties, we see Nikko trying to record a number of...
