Endemol Shine Group appears to have shuttered its U.K. digital talent management firm FlipSide Talent, which formerly repped noteworthy creators like Daniel Howell and Phil Lester, Emma Pickles, Thomas ‘TomSka’ Ridgewell, and Jana Vlogs.
FlipSide Talent was formed in 2014 by Endemol Shine Group after its acquisition of the ChannelFlip multi-channel network in 2012. The London-based talent management division was led by Fleur Brooklin Smith and Mike Cook -- though as of this month its website began to redirect to the homepage of Endemol Shine UK.

While I personally love modern horror films and all of their deliciously gory bells and whistles, my heart belongs to the old black and white horror/sci-fi flicks of the 50s and 60s. If you're in the same camp as I am, you'd better listen up.
Below you'll find the first official trailer and artwork for writer/director Christopher R. Mihm's new tale of old terrors, The Late Night Double Feature... a 2-in-1 film if you will.
Shane Donahue, Cherie "Rhuby" Gallinati, Mark Haider, Elizabeth Kaiser, Michael Kaiser, Stephanie Mihm, Daniel R. Sjerven, J. Andrew Wilkins, Mike Cook, Catherine Hansen, Alice Mihm, Daniel Mihm, Elliott Mihm, James Norgard, and Douglas Sidney star.
The Late Night Double Feature was written, directed, and edited by Christopher R. Mihm with stop-motion animation by Norman Yeend. Monster costume and special effects makeup are by Mitch Gonzales with electronic tonalities by Peter K. Flynn.

Joining Spiders and Big Ass Spider is now The Giant Spider - an indie sliver of retro goodness in the vein of the old black and white classic Tarantula, which featured - you guessed it - a super-sized arachnid of deadly proportions.
The film from writer/director Christopher R. Mihm stars Daniel R. Sjerven, Shannon McDonough, Mark Haider, Mike Cook, Jim Norgard, and Billie Jo Konze. Look for it later this year, possibly even as early as May.
Synopsis
When radiation left behind by atomic weapons testing creates a gigantic killer mutant arachnid, it's up to a trio of scientists (Mike Cook, Billie Jo Konze, and James Norgard), an Army general (Mark Haider), and a newspaper reporter (Daniel R. Sjerven) and his fiancée (Shannon McDonough) to figure out how to stop the hungry beast from devouring the entire county in writer/director Christopher R. Mihm's ode to the giant bug films of yesteryear!

Personally, I pride myself on keeping up with pop culture, but one day someone mentioned Angry Birds and I remarked: “Yeah, what the hell is this Angry Birds thing everyone is talking about?” My buddy, and occasional Killer Film writer Mike Cook looked at me like I just asked the dumbest question in the history of question asking. “Really? You don’t know what Angry Birds is?”
No, and I still don’t or care too, but judging by this press release from Rovio, we might witness an Angry Birds movie soon.
“Rovio has announced that David Maisel is becoming a Special Advisor to Rovio. In his previous role as Chairman of Marvel Studios and Evp, Office of Chief Executive at Marvel Entertainment, David transformed Marvel Entertainment by launching Marvel Studios and its first self-produced and self-financed films including Iron Man. He also most recently led the sale of Marvel Entertainment to Disney.
