Looing good, ladies! Laverne Cox, Kristin Cavallari and Alexa Ray Joel stole the spotlight during New York Fashion Week's "Go Red For Women" fashion show in NYC on Thursday. Some of Hollywood's biggest stars walked the catwalk at Nyfw for the American Heart Association's annual event, which aims to bring awareness about heart disease. The "Orange is the New Black" star slayed the catwalk during the show and looked breathtaking in her red halter Donna Karan gown. The actress styled her long blonde locks in '70s-inspired waves and added some edge to her runway look with a sheer cape. Cox was also joined by her costar Dasha Polanco, who showed off her curves in a figure-hugging long-sleeved Michael Costello satin dress. The "Hills" alum looked radiant in her strapless red Monique Lhuillier gown. Cavallari completed her look with a diamond necklace and wore her blonde locks in loose curls.

Eliza Coupe may have found her next series following Happy Endings (admittedly, I was hoping she might return to Community). She is set to star in Benched, a USA comedy pilot about a woman who goes from working in corporate law to being a public defender.
The Doctor Who 50th anniversary special will be shown in theaters in 3D, including screens in the USA. Unfortunately, it looks like the specifics haven’t been settled, so we’ll all have to wait to find out if its going to be shown on the big screen in our city.
I wouldn’t mind switching out one of those companions, tho…
Vulture lists its 25 Most Amazing Amazing Race teams. I don’t have many complaints, except that it’s too bad they forgot the epic moment of Tara haranguing the insufferable Will in the final race to the finish line.

Designer and former 'Runway' contestant Michael Costello talks us through the entire episode in his latest recap. Read on to hear about the craziness of this gender-blurring episode! Nine remain, but we will see who makes it to the top this week! We learn the theme is 'Androgyny' and immediately Uli sighs. Then the designers learn it has to be avantgarde androngyny. Boy, this is going to be tough! Uli feels nervous from the beginning and you can tell that she is somewhat doubting herself. It seems as though everyone is trying to push the limit. Georgina Chapman comes in after the designers return from Mood and gives the designers a serious twist . Next in the room walks a line of nine models. Oh man! The designers have to pull off a whole different look for a man with one extra day! Anthony Ryan tells Kain that he needs to...

Helen Mirren doesn't approve of workroom conflict
What a total and utter crock.
On this week's All Stars, the designers had to go head-to-head with another designer to create a sportswear look based on the four seasons.
If I told you that Austin, Michael, Mondo and Rami were in the bottom four, and Jerell, Mila, Kenley and ... Kara were the winners, would you believe it?
Welcome to Bizarro World.
The most interesting part of this week's show was the "conflict" between Jerell and Michael, with the latter once again accused of fashion plagiarism.
My favorite moment was when Joanna asked Michael where he got the inspiration, and he talked about sketches he had done. When she asked where they were, he went all hummana-hummana, "Um, they're around here somewhere." Hooker, please!
So how did the designers do? Below and on the following pages you can see the final designs and how they fared.

On this week's All Stars, the designers had to find a stranger to act as a muse, and bargain for the clothes off their back to create a high fashion look
This was the most entertaining episode of the season so far, thanks to some sweet eye candy, the ever-entertaining Anthony, and hockey stud ally Sean Avery.
Whenever the show seems to focus on one designer over the others, it's a safe bet that said designer will either win that week's challenge ... or be sent packing. As soon as I noticed that we seemed to be getting more Anthony quips than usual, I knew he was in trouble. But even though he's gone, he'll always be remembered for introducing us to ... Diego.
Below you can see the designers talk about the unique difficulty of this challenge, i.e. the "public funk." No amount of Febreeze can hide the stench!

As the networks roll out their fall schedules, CBS gets a chance to spend a lot of its day milling around the free snack table while surfing for new Apps. Whatever your thoughts might be on whether or not CBS has hot women, and is or isn't a network for old people (which it A- does, and B- nevertheless largely is), the fact is that they aren't rolling out a lot of new shows. P.S. don't write letters, if you haven't heard about CBS claiming it isn't for old people (or just for old people, I suppose) and has "hot women," that's not my fault.
You could go either way with the general idea that CBS is only putting out five new shows, while the other networks seem to have more new shows than they can juggle at once. On the one hand, CBS might be resting on its...

CBS announced its 2011-2012 primetime fall schedule today. The most anticipated show for me is J.J. Abrams' Person of Interest starring Jim Caviezel, Michael Emmerson and Taraji P. Henson. I am also a huge fan of Kat Dennings, so it will be neat to see how 2 Broke Girls turns out. There are a total of three new dramas, two new comedies, and 19 returning series.
Here is the press release:
CBS announced today its new 2011-2012 primetime schedule, ordering five new series and making key time-period moves for CSI and The Good Wife to strengthen its already top-rated primetime lineup. CBS will, once again, finish the season as America's most watched network, marking the eighth time it has done so in the last nine years.

Two and a Half Men is staying put and CSI is getting the boot.
CBS unveiled its fall scheduled keeping Big Bang Theory on Thursdays and shifts veteran CSI from its longtime Thursday night anchor slot.
The network announced several new drams. J.J. Abrams’ Person of Interest stars Jim Caviezel and Michael Emerson as an ex-cia agent and a billionaire who team to stop crimes. Interest gets to take over the coveted CSI spot on Thursdays. CBS also shifted The Good Wife to Sundays. “To move CSI out of that time period you need big guns and we do,” says CBS entertainment president Nina Tassler.

In the show’s jaw dropping season eight finale, Andy choked, front runner Mondo was robbed and Gretchen, the queen of mean took home the top prize, an outcome that even shocked Tim Gunn!
I was still reeling from the departure of underdog Michael Costello last week- watching him fall short was heartbreaking, especially when the queen of mean Gretchen breezed into Fashion Week along with Mondo and Andy, going on and on about how much she deserved it. Rude!
This week’s finale started off with a reunion with all the seasons’ contestants. Gretchen got called out for her bad attitude. “You’re mean,” said April and Ivy rolled her eyes and called Gretchen fake when she started to cry. Meow! But for as drama filled as the season was, the rest of the reunion seemed like a love fest. There was an overwhelming amount of admiration for front-runner...

Previously, Ivy pretended that Michael C had spread rumors about her, because actually accepting that she had done a crap job was out of the question. Just hearing her say the words "Michael C is trying to sabotage me!" makes me grind my teeth and wonder what show she thinks she's on. Peach was eliminated, and I miss her already.
We start with a bit of useless filler (gotta make up the 90 minutes with something) as we see April move in to the apartment that holds the other three remaining women. It's not terribly exciting, until she claims that she doesn't deal in bullshit, and that if she has a problem with someone she'll voice it. Hmm. I wonder, did you go up to Michael Costello and tell him you think he has poor sewing skills and he's a horrible person, or by 'voice it' did you mean telling it...

As the curtain rises on this week's show, we find that most if not all of the remaining designers are still not feeling Michael Costello's win last week. Christopher states unequivocally that Michael C's skills are "not in line with the rest of us." Meanwhile April and Peach have formed a sort of Survivor-style alliance which, I have to admit, is touching since in real life, would these two even look at each other on the street? Ah, Reality TV: breaker-down of age and culture barriers! It's a team challenge broken down into two teams which shake out predictably. Michael C, being last week's winner, gets to choose first and picks Gretchen for his team (I guess he did get a swelled head last week from the win; otherwise what in the Sam Hill was he thinking? Us winners have to...
