Plot: The series unravels the mystery of a nightmarish town that traps all those who enter. In season two, hidden truths about the nature and terrifying origins of the town begin to emerge, even as life for its residents is plunged into chaos by the arrival of mysterious newcomers.
Review: There are few things as entertaining as a great mystery series. When Lost debuted in 2004, every network tried replicating the balance of serial storytelling, mystery box thrills, and cliffhanger endings. The problem many of those series encountered were characters that audiences did not connect to. MGM+ series From, created by John Griffin, benefited from the skills of various cast and crew from Lost to help turn it into a hit when it premiered last year. Now, the second season of the series expands the ensemble and follows the Lost pattern by deepening the town’s mysteries surrounded by supernatural predators...

Superman & Lois is on one of its scheduled breaks at the moment, but don’t you worry, because it will be back soon enough! For a show that lulled everyone into a false sense of security in its early episodes about the scope of its ambitions, the back half of the season has delivered shock after shock.
Here’s the official synopsis for the new episode of Superman & Lois, which is appropriately titled “The Eradicator.”
“Lois (Elizabeth Tulloch) is worried about Jordan (Alex Garfin) as he and Sarah (Inde Navarrette) continue to grow closer. Meanwhile, Clark (Tyler Hoechlin) pays Lana (Emmanuelle Chriqui) a visit. Lastly, Jonathan (Jordan Elsass) has been spending more and more time with John Henry (Wole Parks). Erik Valdez, Dylan Walsh and Adam Rayner also star.”
Hey, you know who Isn’T mentioned in that synopsis? Morgan Edge himself, Adam Rayner’s Tal-Rho…the guy...

The Flash, as with the other Arrowverse shows, has had to take a month’s break due to the coronavirus pandemic affecting production. However, it will soon return to our screens for the 16th episode of season 6, titled “So Long and Goodnight.” As well as being the one to finally supply us with that Scarlet Speedster content we’ve been craving, the episode is also notable for featuring the return of two familiar characters.
As you can see in the promo images in the gallery below, both Sue Dearbon and Rag Doll will be back for the next installment of the show. Natalie Dreyfuss’ Sue was first introduced in episode 6×12 “A Girl Named Sue,” where she and Ralph quickly formed a bond – even though it turned out she had double-crossed him. No doubt sparks will fly when the pair reunite.

It's the end of an era for The CW's Riverdale.
Luke Perry's final episode as Archie’s dad Fred Andrews will air this Wednesday, according to executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa announced.
"This week’s Riverdale is the last episode Luke filmed,” the Ep wrote on Twitter on Sunday.
“As always, Fred’s imparting words of wisdom to Archie. A beautiful, true moment between father and son. Wish these scenes could go on forever…”
Perry died days after suffering a stroke last month at 52 years of age, but Fred has continued to appear on episodes of the drama series because the episodes are filmed in advance.

Even though I went into Legends of Tomorrow‘s midseason premiere with some skepticism because it was set to focus heavily on the romance involving Mona and her wolf-like boyfriend, I found myself walking away from it impressed. If anything, last night’s episode served up the right balance of humor and adventurism that’s made the show all the more enjoyable since its third season.
From the look of it, Mona will become a heavy presence in the series going forward – especially since she’s now of the lycanthropic persuasion herself. Whether or not her dual lifestyle proves permanent, expect to see more of Mona during April 15th’s episode, “Seance and Sensibility.”
Thanks to the freshly released gallery below, we’re granted new looks at various members of the cast, including favorites like John Constantine and Mick Rory. And from what we can tell, the female heroes of...

Now that Oliver Queen has finally been liberated from Slabside, we can get back to enjoying Arrow as we’ve come to love it. Well, actually, we still need for the other members of the team to fully suit up just as they had in the old days, but I think we’ll get there in due time.
Funny enough, it’s Ollie himself who’s wasting no time getting back in the habit. As we learned from the first trailer promoting next week’s episode, “Unmasked,” he’s already dusting off his Green Arrow getup and hitting the streets. And believe it or not, he’s doing it with his face in full view, though there’s not much need to conceal his identity since the secret got out last spring.

As we had assumed, Oliver Queen was finally freed from prison tonight during “The Slabside Redemption,” though not by a brute force escape as previously expected. You see, the authorities still had every intention of giving him an early release as negotiated by Laurel Lance, but one Ricardo Diaz threw a wrench into those plans.
What went down was a magnum opus in director/stunt coordinator James Bamford’s storied career working on Arrow, thus allowing for lead actor Stephen Amell to show off his fighting and parkour skills. Not only that, but Michael Jai White fought by his side as Ben Turner Aka Bronze Tiger, likewise displaying his martial arts proficiency.
Long story short, after Kirk Acevedo turned in an unforgettable performance as Diaz and Oliver turned the tables on him by taking back Slabside, it was only fair the guards recognized the once and future Emerald Archer’s...

This season on Arrow, viewers have thus far had two major questions on their minds: when will Oliver Queen get out of prison and just who is the new Emerald Archer running around Star City? It looks like the former will occur soon enough during “The Slabside Redemption,” but we now have a pretty solid lead on the latter.
You see, we’ve known since last month of how an episode set to air this fall would be titled “Unmasked,” but today is the day we can tell you it’ll arrive on December 3rd. Not only that, but we have an official synopsis to go along with said confirmation:
Felicity Makes Certain Decisions For Her Family — Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) stands by her recent decisions regarding her family. Meanwhile, Diggle (David Ramsey) and Lyla (Audrey Marie Anderson) continue to look into the Dante painting that Curtis (Echo Kellum) found.

To me, one of the most intriguing aspects of Arrow‘s current season has been that of the Black Siren situation. So far, she’s proven to be one of the most ambiguous and duplicitous people to have ventured to Star City in quite some time, siding with the other criminals to terrorize the town all the while Quentin Lance tries to bring her back from the abyss.
But most unfortunate for the new mayor is that his not-daughter is spending a lot of time with crime lord Ricardo Diaz, some information that he’ll become privy to before long. In fact, the accompanying gallery shows Lance is about to learn the truth in next week’s episode, “Shifting Allegiances.”
Now, as you peruse these images, we ask that you that you slow down once you arrive at the ones to include Quentin and Laurel. Really, it plays out like a bizarrely hilarious flip book,...

After being left disappointed by the first few episodes in the current season of The Flash, I’m glad to say that I’m starting to feel as glued to my TV set as I was back in seasons 1 and 2. After thinking the producers wouldn’t be able to top the shocking midseason finale, I was quite pleased to see them continue leaving us in a state of disbelief after viewing last week’s “The Trial of the Flash.”
Long story short, the creative minds behind the series kicked off 2018 with a bang by actually having Barry Allen being found guilty for the murder of Clifford DeVoe. Of course, we the viewers know he’s innocent, but it’s forcing us to wonder how the Scarlet Speedster will get out of this one.

He’s been rocking a pretty ugly light blue spandex suit for most of the season so far, but it’s finally time for Ralph Dibny to get a proper superhero outfit in next week’s episode of The Flash.
DC comics fans will know that Ralph typically wears a purple, black and white skin-tight outfit on the page and, while that look hasn’t been recreated on screen, Dibny’s new duds – seen in the gallery below – evoke the character’s classic look as best as they can while still fitting in with the overall Arrowverse aesthetic. For instance, the purple has been switched for a more muted maroon colour scheme and the addition of the goggles are a nice touch, as a way for Ralph to keep his identity a secret.

In the view of myself and a fair amount of fans, The Flash season 4 has thus far proven to be a mixed bag. For the first six episodes, the producers tried so hard to stray from the darkness of season 3 that they made pretty much every line of dialogue a quip, effectively reducing the show to a farce in short order.
But, with episode 4×07, we saw a turnaround of sorts, as the magic of seasons 1 and 2 was seemingly being recaptured. To be honest, we owe much of our gratitude to the Thinker and all the riveting storytelling and shocking plot twists he’s brought along with him. Really, it’s okay to smile here and there, but this is The CW, not Disney Xd.
Having said all that, we’re hoping that the series don’t fall into a forcefully comedic quagmire in the next few weeks as Ralph Dibny,...

If you’ve been keeping up with Legends of Tomorrow this season, then you’re well aware of how it’s been a time for change. Not only have the crew of the Waverider had to deal with displaced anachronisms for the past few weeks, but they’ve had to do it without the aid of their former captain, Rip Hunter.
Obviously, that void has been filled by Sara Lance/the White Canary just as it was for a good portion of season 2, but there’s been a twist of sorts that’s come in the form of Rip actually working against his former teammates. You see, it became hard for him to ignore their previous mistakes, thus prompting him to form the Time Bureau.

Warning : Potential Spoilers Ahead
After a dark and emotional season 3, The Flash witnessed a complete 360-degree change in its tone. The series started to up its fun quotient in season 4 so far with each and every passing episode. This week’s episode “Mixed Feelings” hooks us by its charm, with the showrunners sending a loud and clear signal about their new approach.
The episode starts with an enjoyable sequence of Barry (Grant Gustin) showing of his dancing skills from the Glee days. I really started loving this new improved attitude of Barry. Season four is also doing a much better job handling relationships. Whether it was Barry/Iris or the new entry Cisco/Gypsy, the lovebirds need some advice and Catilin who is a pro in these matters is happy to sort them out. She even suggested Iris for a couple therapy.

Though the summer hiatus felt like an eternity, we can now breathe easier with the fall season of DC TV being back in full swing. Not only that, but synopses for episodes set to air during week 5 have now surfaced online, including those for Legends of Tomorrow and Arrow.
First, on Tuesday, November 7, the Waverider crew will cross paths with none other than their former captain, Rip Hunter. Sure, actor Arthur Darvill may no longer be a series regular, but he’s still playing a big part in the grand scheme now that he’s formed the Time Bureau. Thus, we’re guessing this fateful meeting has everything to do with the episode being titled “Return of the Mack,” and not Rip recording a hip-hop album.
Anyway, here’s what we know as of now:

The Flash this Tuesday (The CW, 8/7c) turns in one of its funniest episodes, certainly in a long while. But it has even more going for it than that. Here’s a non-spoilery overview of “Mixed Signals,” which was written by Jonathan Butler and Gabriel Garza and directed by Alexandra La Roche (“The Wrath of Savitar”):
It’S Nifty
Yes, Barry got a new suit in the Season 4 premiere. But Cisco apparently has been itching to upgrade it even further, and some of the modifications unveiled in “Mixed Signals” are pretty damn cool (if, um, occasionally problematic). The Meta...

It’s all going to change for Barry Allen on The Flash season 4. After his spell in the Speed Force over the summer, the Scarlet Speedster will return to Central City a new man. In light of criticisms over the treatment of his character in the last run, the writers have taken on board what the fans had to say and have brought Grant Gustin’s portrayal more in line with the comic book hero. At least, that’s what we’ve been promised ahead of the season premiere next week.
Another thing that will be different this year is the Flash’s costume. In place of the more maroon version Barry’s been wearing for the past few seasons, his new duds are a much brighter shade of red with some fancy gold detailing. Previously, we’ve seen glimpses of the suit here and there, thanks to the odd...

Think back to when you were in high school. Do you remember that whenever you’d return from spring break or summer vacation there were always a fair amount of people rocking new hairstyles and whatnot? Or, if you’re a pro wrestler who wants their comeback to be more impactful after sitting on the sidelines for six months or more, you might upgrade your threads. Likewise, The Flash will seemingly employ that very same logic upon his liberation from the Speed Force.
Actually, we have seen Barry Allen’s new costume before, but with a bit of a twist. You see, when he traveled to 2024 last season in “The Once and Future Flash,” he met his future self who happened to be wearing the very same suit we’re discussing today.

Earlier this week, we learned that there’s truly no rest for the wicked as the cast and crew for the hit series The Flash decided to forego taking Independence Day off, and instead were hard at work shooting the season 4 premiere. And while we did hear that it’ll be titled “The Flash Reborn,” there was little else to go on.
Fortunately, a few more details have surfaced in the time since. According to Flash TV News, Vancouver production charts list none other than Glen Winter as director for that very episode. And knowing how he’s already made many contributions not only to this series, but to pretty much every other major DC superhero show The CW has produced from Smallville and onward, we’re willing to say that the Scarlet Speedster is in good hands.
As for the episode to follow, that’ll see Alexandra La Roche getting behind the lens.

Before The Flash teaches us all how to sing and dance in the upcoming musical crossover with Supergirl, things will seemingly get worse for the Scarlet Speedster and his pals before they get better.
Proving that point is a new featurette released ahead of tonight’s episode that bears the most foreboding of titles: “The Wrath of Savitar.” In it, executive producer Aaron Helbing teases the emotional journey that Wally West must go through in order to avert his sister’s murder at the hands of the God of Speed in the near future.
Also, is it just me or does Savitar himself look a little more practical in the footage provided, as if he were a stuntman in a prosthetic suit as opposed to a CGI creation? If so, I wouldn’t rule it out since I recently discussed the possibility that “Attack on Gorilla City” consumed a good...

In this week’s episode of The Flash, the team managed to overcome a devastating attack from Gorilla Grodd and his army. Unfortunately, they won’t have too much time to catch their breath, as the self-proclaimed Speed God, Savitar, prepares to return from his exile in the Speed Force.
How that happens remains to be seen, though the promo below points to Kid-Flash being manipulated into helping him return to plague the Scarlet Speedster. That’s a decision which may well spell doom for Iris West after the Flash travelled into the future and witnessed her death at the hands of Savitar.
For more on what to expect from this episode, here’s the official synopsis for “The Wrath of Savitar”:
While training with Barry (Grant Gustin), Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) starts to have visions of Savitar, which he hides from the team. A dangerous...

Eureka, Season 5, Episode 9, “Smarter Carter”
Written by Paula Yoo and Ed Fowler
Directed by Alexandra La Roche
Airs Mondays at 9pm Et on SyFy
“Smarter Carter” showcases two of the most entertaining characters on Eureka, Jack and Deputy Andy, as they each deal with personality-changing issues.
Allison’s brother visits town to meet her new husband, Jack. Since there is a high standard of intelligence in Allison’s family, her son Kevin finds a way to make Jack more intelligent to impress his uncle. The zeta waves in Jack’s brain (another aftereffect of the Matrix) cause the temporary fix to become permanent while wiping away his emotions. This storyline gives Colin Ferguson a third opportunity this season to play out of character and show off his acting chops. Ferguson shouldn’t be out of work for long after Eureka, which he’s been working on since 2006, comes to an end in a few weeks.
