Paddy Cunningham, also known as Rex, was a sound recordist for film and TV during the 1960's and 1970's.
Most notably he worked with renowned British filmmaker David Lean on 'Lawrence Of Arabia' in 1962 and 'Doctor Zhivago' in 1965.
'Doctor Zivago' won 5 Golden Globes and 5 Oscars, and was nominated for the Oscar for 'Best Sound' at the 38th Academy Awards in America.
'Lawrence Of Arabia' won 4 Golden Globes, 4 BAFTAs and 7 Oscars. Including the Oscar for 'Best Sound' at the 35th Academy Awards in America.
