Stew June Foster went viral on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 4 when chief stew Hannah Ferrier continuously called “June, June, Hannah” on the radio. In fact, to this day, she still has strangers relay the line to her, which makes her laugh.
But she wasn’t laughing after her departure from the show. Foster was hired when stew Anastasia Surmava took over as chef when the original chef was fired. Surmava’s time as the chef was short-lived and the stress caused her to return back to being a stew. Foster was let go and she seemed rattled and pretty upset at the time.
Foster recently told Showbiz Cheat Sheet that she privately struggled off the show due to backlash and online bullying.

Foster said she totally understood why Captain Sandy Yawn had to let her go.

Being married to a famous person comes with a lot of perks, but it also comes with a lot of scrutiny. Michelle Damon has had to deal with a little bit of both during her marriage to former professional baseball player Johnny Damon. Reality TV fans will remember Michelle from that awkward moment on Below Deck where she was accused of wearing Spanx and decided that she wasn’t going to allow someone to accuse her of such a thing, especially on TV. Despite all of the ups and downs that come with inadvertently being thrust in the spotlight, Michelle has

Johnny Damon is putting his issues with the Red Sox aside ... and praising the hell out of the team for the way it's handled the David Ortiz situation, saying the Sox "did such a great job." Of course, Damon's relationship with Boston's Mlb team has been mostly nonexistent since his messy departure from Fenway back in 2005. Sorry, Boston ... Johnny Damon's making it 100% clear -- he bleeds pinstripes now. "New York's my team," Johnny tells TMZ Sports. "The Yankees, that's who I want to win." But, when it comes to Boston-n.Y. in the Alds -- he's got his Yanks cap firmly on.

On Sunday’s “Celebrity Family Feud,” Charles Barkley gave a seemingly insane answer to the question, “If a man’s zipper breaks at church, what might he use to cover it up?”
Turns out it was more of the crazy-like-a-fox variety.
When Barkley answered “a child,” his “Inside the NBA” team was horrified. An embarrassed Ernie Johnson actually walked away and tried to join the other “family” over the very Barkley-esque response.

Shaquille O’Neal, a deputy marshal in Lafayette, Louisiana, reserve police officer in Florida, and sheriff’s deputy in Clayton County, Georgia, placed his TNT colleague under arrest.
It certainly didn’t help when Chuck tried to clarify that by “child” he meant “a baby.” Sure, that’s much better.

“Dancing with the Stars: Athletes” premiered on April 30 and eliminated two celebrities on that very first night of the competition. We thought basketball players Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Arike Ogunbowale would be goners, but instead snowboarder Jamie Anderson and baseball star Johnny Damon were sent packing after judges’ scores were combined with viewer votes. Our readers weren’t too happy with those results when we polled them for their reactions. Scroll down to see the complete poll results at the bottom of this post. (Check out our live blog recapping week two right here.)
Only 12% of respondents thought that both Anderson and Damon deserved to get the boot. And the panel of judges might have even agreed. Neither dancer had the lowest score on the leaderboard: Anderson earned 19 out of 30 for her Viennese waltz with her pro partner Artem Chigvintsev, while Damon and pro partner Emma Slater scored 18 out of 30 for their rough-around-the-edges foxtrot.

“Once fan votes were factored in they weren’t surprising even though they were not the lowest scorers,” says Gold Derby editor Joyce Eng about the eliminations of Jamie Alexander and Johnny Damon in the season premiere of “Dancing with the Stars: Athletes.” Kareem Abdul-Jabbar had the lowest judges’ score (17 out of 30), but he “has the fan base to compensate.” Eng discusses the “DWTS” premiere with Daniel Montgomery, Jeffrey Kare and Cordell Martin in their slugfest above, and they also speculate about what’s to come when the sports celebs perform team dances in week two.
Montgomery thinks snowboarder Anderson was “doomed” by her clip package. “It’s not even that she and [pro partner Artem Chigvintsev] were combative or anything like that. They just didn’t seem to have any kind of chemistry or connection.” You need to be able to endear yourself to the audience in order to win “DWTS...

For the first time “Dancing With the Stars” features an all-athlete cast including Olympic medalists, retired and current professional athletes and even the first collegiate athlete to ever appear on the show. With the competition at an all-time high, which athletes rose to the occasion and which ones failed to make the cut in the season premiere episode on Monday night. We’ve heard what the judges had to say. Below are my rankings from week one of “Dancing With the Stars: Athletes”.
1. Adam Rippon & Jenna Johnson – Cha Cha (Score: 24/30)
Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon is known for his over-the-top, fun personality. That was on full display with his energetic cha cha. I thought the routine was full of cha cha content and entertaining, and it really brought the house down. Adam and Jenna’s chemistry is off the charts, especially for week one. After Monday night I think Adam is the one to beat.

Gold Derby users were blindsided Monday night in the season premiere of “Dancing with the Stars: Athletes.” We were predicting that basketball players Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Arike Ogunbowale were the likeliest two to be sent home in the unprecedented opening-night double-elimination. After 25 seasons, we've seen plenty of athletes strut their stuff on the dance floor, and many of them went home with Mirrorball trophies, so it's no shock that Dancing With the Stars: Athletes Season 26 Episode 1 is showcasing all athletes.
The twist? They've only got four weeks to strut their stuff and prove they're worthy of that Mirrorball, and, in the first time in Dancing With the Stars history, two were sent home at the end of tonight's premiere.

Many sports figures have reigned victorious on Dancing With the Stars over the years — think Meryl Davis, Emmitt Smith, and Apolo Ohno — so it makes total sense that ABC is devoting a whole season to just athletes! Season 26 of the reality competition, dubbed Dancing With the Stars: Athletes, will feature 10 sporty types hitting the parquet floor for their shot at the Mirrorball Trophy. When does DWTS 2018 start? The time has finally arrived! Dancing With the Stars: Athletes is set to premiere tonight, Monday, April 30, at 8 p.m. Et on ABC. ABC has revealed the routines and songs for Monday’s “Dancing with the Stars: Athletes” premiere, which will have three cha-chas, three foxtrots, three salsas and one Viennese waltz on tap. Hope the Viennese waltz doesn’t feel too lonely. All four styles are typical Week 1 dances on the show, but this is no typical “Dancing” season. It’s four weeks long, and more than one couple will be eliminated at the end of the premiere based on judges’ scores and fan votes cast during the live Et/Ct broadcast.

Dancing With The the Stars Season 26 has ten star athletes headlining a phenomenal four week event in the ultimate dance contest for the coveted Mirrorball Trophy.
Can figure skating's bad girl, Tonya Harding, out shine six time NBA champion, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on the dance floor?
Will NFL cornerback Josh Norman have the fancy footwork needed to out score Norte Dame's basketball star, Arike Ogunbowale?
And with 15 X Games medals, will snowboarder Jamie Anderson score enough points to slide past Chris Mazdzer who won and Olympic medal for Men's Single Luge.
Major League baseball star, Johnny Damon will have to out rhumba Olympic winning softball player Jennie Finch Daigle.
And when Olympic medal winning figure skaters Mirai Nagasu and Adam Rippon go head to head on the dance floor instead of the ice, who will slip first?

It happens every season. You peruse the “Dancing with the Stars” cast, make your predictions based on name and reputation, and are proven wrong. There is always someone you underestimated or overestimated — whether it’s their dance ability or fan support or overall appeal, or all of the above — who does better or worse than most people expected. Who will be that person this season?
Our “Dancing” odds have Adam Rippon winning, with Mirai Nagasu and, perhaps most surprisingly, Tonya Harding, next in line to take home the Mirrorball. Harding’s casting has been very divisive, but she does have supporters and she can ride her redemption story. Or maybe folks are banking on figure skaters’ past success on the show? Chris Mazdzer, the first luger on the show, is in fourth place and Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman, looking to be the fifth football player to win, is in fifth place.

Former Major League Baseball star Johnny Damon is best known for his achievements in the outfield, including World Series titles with the Boston Red Sox (2004) and the New York Yankees (2009), but now he’s hoping to make a strong impression on the dance floor. He’s one of 10 sports celebs who have been cast for the special all-athletes edition of “Dancing with the Stars” starting on April 30. Will he have what it takes to win? None of the contestants have set foot in the ballroom yet, but let’s consider his pros and cons as a contender.
Pros:
Only one baseball player has ever competed on “Dancing with the Stars,” and he was an unqualified success. David Ross finished second in season 24 despite relatively low scores from the judges. So his success was based mostly on his popularity with viewers voting at home. Perhaps those same Mlb fans will rally behind Damon.

Like Johnny Damon, “Dancing with the Stars: Athletes” isn’t Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s first reality rodeo. But while Damon just used his business acumen to fit whatever fancy of Donald Trump’s on “Celebrity Apprentice,” Abdul-Jabbar did something far more daring on a far better, but sadly short-lived, show: “Splash.”
“Splash,” ABC’s version of the Dutch hit, aired only one season in 2013 and was just “Diving with the Stars.” It was ridiculous, awesome, fun as hell, and my former TV Guide colleague Sadie Gennis and I miss it very, very much. Everyone had personalized walkout songs for God’s sake! (Abdul-Jabbar’s song was appropriately named “Skyhook.”)

Everyone and their mother will be pitting Tonya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan against each other once again when the former starts her “Dancing with the Stars: Athletes” run, a year after the latter competed. But that’s not going to faze the controversial figure skater.
“You know, I know that there are going to be comparisons and that’s perfectly fine,” Harding told E! News.

Kerrigan was booted along with “The Bachelor” star Nick Viall in sixth place in a double elimination on Season 24. The skaters are, of course, inextricably linked thanks to the 1994 attack on Kerrigan orchestrated by Harding’s ex-husband Jeff Gillooly. Harding pleaded guilty to hindering prosecution of the attackers and was banned for life by the U.S. Figure Skating Association.

Seven sports are represented by the 10 athletes on “Dancing with the Stars: Athletes,” including some of the show’s staples. But which sport’s athletes have done the best on the show? You can probably guess. Let’s look at these seven sports’ “Dancing” histories.
Football (Josh Norman)
As everyone knows, football is by far “Dancing”’s favorite sport. They don’t even try to hide it. Nineteen football players have hoofed it before this season, and while they haven’t all made it to the business end of their respective seasons, football has produced four winners, three runner-ups and two third-place finishers. So, no pressure, Josh, to follow in these pigskin players’ footsteps.

The “Dancing with the Stars: Athletes” cast is finally out — and we have thoughts. We’ve got six Olympians on deck — including three figure skaters — two basketball players, a baseball player and your requisite football player. It’s anyone’s game (pun intended) — or is it? Some of these folks have some obvious and not-so-obvious advantages over the others and in a shortened four-week season, that could mean a lot. So before anyone takes their first dance, let’s take a closer look at the cast.

Baseball star Johnny Damon has just been cast on “Dancing with the Stars: Athletes,” but he’s no stranger to reality television. While sports fans know Damon as a World Series champion with the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees, reality TV devotees recognize him as being fired by Donald Trump on “Celebrity Apprentice.”
Damon came in fifth place on what turned out to be Trump’s final season hosting the show in 2015; Trump was later replaced by Arnold Schwarzenegger when he ran for President of the United States. While Trump ultimately chose TV personality Leeza Gibbons as the winner of “Celebrity Apprentice,” Damon still earned high marks during his tenure on the show.

The season 26 cast of “Dancing with the Stars” was officially announced on “Good Morning America” on Friday, April 13. So who will win this special all-athletes season of the dance competition series? You can now make your predictions right here for who will claim the Mirror Ball Trophy, who will be eliminated and more.
Athletes often do well on “DWTS” due to their physical conditioning, so this season may be especially difficult to predict since all of the contestants fit that bill. But not all sports are created equal. History tells us that we should especially watch out for figure skaters and football players.
