Chicago Fire recently introduced an intense story about Chief Boden and his family.
The new episode from February 7 had Boden’s stepson popping up at Firehouse 51. Jimmy was there to ask for help.
Boden was married to a woman named Shonda before the Chicago Fire series began. Shonda and Boden had a child named Jimmy.
The relationship between Boden (played by Eamonn Walker) and Shonda (Shanesia Davis) didn’t last long. It was a young romance that was done before Chicago Fire Season 1.
The Chicago Fire writers introduced someone new for Chief Wallace Boden in Season 2, and a whirlwind romance began.
Boden and Donna Robbins (Melissa Ponzio) hit it off quickly. One episode focused on Boden proposing, and the Season 2 finale for Chicago Fire featured Donna and Boden’s wedding.
Is Chief Boden still married on Chicago Fire?
Yes, Boden is still married. Donna is still his wife, and they have a son named Terrance.

Actors pick up knighthood and Cbe while Pm revives British Empire Medal as reward for 'big society' volunteers
David Cameron's "big society" gong, the anachronistically named British Empire Medal, makes its first appearance for 20 years in the Queen's birthday honours today, rewarding "hands-on" service to local communities.
As actors Kenneth Branagh and Kate Winslet collect a knighthood and Cbe respectively, 293 BEMs, known as the "working-class gong" and scrapped by John Major in 1991 in his efforts to make the honours system "classless", are also awarded.
Revived by Cameron to encourage the "big society" and reward volunteering, Bem recipients include waitress Patricia Carter, for services to the hospitality industry, apiarist Geoffrey Hopkinson, for services to beekeeping, and many others involved with local community work, charities, and sports.
Sir Bob Kerslake, head of the civil service who chairs the main honours committee, said the re-introduction of the Bem for the Diamond Jubilee extended...

Spoilers Alert: If you don’t want to know that New Zealand won the World Cup, England didn’t impress and the ‘magical’ Quade Cooper was more Debbie McGee than Houdini, do not read on.
Of course if you are reading this there is a good chance you are a rugby fan and knew all that, or at least I hope you did. It’s quite interesting now to review this dvd several month on from the tournament, with the dust settled and the rose tinted glasses firmly in place, we are taken back to New Zealand by the good folk of Sky Sports Nz.
Anyone that watches sport dvds, more so the official ones, will understand my hesitation at getting too excited when putting this one in the dvd player. Regularly they are unsubtle cash-ins by someone clearly with no understanding of the sport. Thankfully...

After a long hard campaign that began so many months ago and that offered much promise just last week, Wales left New Zealand without the Southern Hemisphere scalp they craved and deserved, as Australia ran out 21-18 winners.
With the main event 48 hours away, the game was played in a fashion that suggested its significance was not felt by all parties present in Eden Park. A bevy of mistakes ensured the game failed to flow, with Wales looking like their minds were, understandably, elsewhere.
Berrick Barnes was one player to benefit from this match, firstly by scoring from a well-timed Quade Cooper pass, but also from an unfortunate knee injury that compounded Cooper’s already disappointing World Cup.

It’s the game no one wants to play in. Ultimately it doesn’t mean much; it is just a badge, to finish on a high despite the looming shadow of Sunday’s Final reminding those involved of what could have been. But on Friday one of these sides will be deemed “third best team in the world”.
On paper it doesn’t sound bad, being third best considering there are plenty more teams below you in the pecking order. But the wounds are still too raw either both teams to appreciate that fact, the healing effect of time yet to be given a chance to soothe.
Both sides could feasibly have been playing two days later and both will feel aggrieved not to be there. The Welsh arguably have a greater justification to be annoyed, given the performance they put in against the French considering they went an hour...

Momentum. A key word bandied around rugby circles, but what does it mean? At its most basic level, you need momentum to go forward. In a rugby context that could be a tackle, a scrum, a maul. And it is something Wales have in bucket loads at this very moment, something none of their contenders for rugby’s crown can claim to have.

Rising at an hour so unfamiliar, with the sun yet to rise and a slight crispness to the air, the first 6am start of the weekend felt a little bit like Christmas. Walking into the living room to find the floor bare of presents was a slight disappointment, but this was quickly made up by what these two teams gave us in the first quarter-final of the weekend.
Both teams started with an unbelievable ferociousness, turnover ball in their own half leading to Wales’ Jamie Roberts almost shattering Donnacha O’Callaghan when he tried to make a tackle on the Welshman. Just inches short it was no surprise that it was record try scorer Shane Williams who managed to squirm over between his opposite number and the touchline for the opening score, Rhys Priestland adding the extras.
