Dave Attell is making his R-rated way back to Comedy Central with a new stand-up special — and more. The underrated stand-up vet and former Insomniac host hits the stage(s) in Road Work, a one-hour special that is culled from gigs in Philadelphia, New Orleans, Minneapolis, New Brunswick, N.J., and Chicopee, Mass. Road Work boasts a lo-fi, guerrilla vibe and even features some camerawork by audience members. “This is the new normal. I’m broke,” Attell quips to EW, adding: “I’m a club comic and I just didn’t want to do a special that’s in a big theater.

Some couples just don't know when to call it quits. But luckily for us, it's hilarious to watch.
Comedians Joe DeRosa and Nikki Glaser -- who used to date in real life -- have debuted a new web series appropriately titled "We Should Break Up" on Official Comedy. The six-part series is "based on true events" and pokes fun at the tumultuous, on-again, off-again relationships everyone seems to have at one point or another in life.
You can watch the first episode above, and guys, you might want to take note of the only correct response for when a woman says, "I want you to stay with me tonight."...

Comedian Joe DeRosa is a funny man, and comedienne Nikki Glaser is no slouch herself. The pair, who once dated, are the stars of a new series on Bedrocket's Official Comedy channel. It's called We Should Break Up, and it examines the situations that occur when two talkative and opinionated people get busy. The first episode has been released, and as the title would imply, the main pairing severs its ties after an argument over whether DeRosa should stay over at Glaser's house. She says yes, he says he needs to walk the dog before it pees, and hilarity ensues. We've been promised six episodes, and each one will feature a break-up or a make-up. On-again, off-again sexual tension is a tried and tested formula for TV sitcoms, but by my knowledge this is the first time it has been used as the central premise of a show. The video's...

This has been a fun year for remembering the glory that is Back to the Future from the commemorative Nike Mag shoes to the impending return of the DeLorean with an all-new electrical model in 2013. Now another cool piece of work is coming in the form of a fantastic new poster from Tim Doyle being released in correlation with Secret Show to the Future 2, a special online streaming event with Anthony Cumia of the Opie & Anthony Show, producer Danny Ross and comedian Joe DeRosa providing Mystery Science Theater 3000 style commentary while watching the sequel. See the cool poster and event details below! Here's Tim Doyle's Back to the Future Part II poster via SlashFilm (click for a larger version): As for the event, since it's a secret show, you won't be able to attend in person, since people are meant to tune in for a special Ustream...

As much as everyone adores the Back to the Future trilogy, it rates pretty high on the unintentional comedy scale. There are flubs, over the top performances and awkward lines of dialogue across all three films making them great to watch with a bunch of friends. This weekend, a special live Ustream broadcast will let you do just that. It's called the Secret Show to the Future 2 and it happens at 10 p.m. Est November 5. In 2008, several members of the Sirius Xm's Opie and Anthony show did the first Secret Show to the Future, where they watched Robert Zemeckis' 1985 film complete with live comedy commentary in the tradition of Mystery Science Theater 3000. This Saturday brings the sequel. Anthony Cumia of the O&A Show, producer Danny Ross and comedian Joe DeRosa, all huge fans of the films, will watch Back to the Future Part II live and provide...

Organisers of the Tribeca Film Festival have announced this year's line-up of 60 short films, 22 of which are world premieres.
The international festival was founded in 2002 by Robert De Niro, producer Jane Rosenthal and real-estate investor Craig Hatkoff to help revitalise Manhattan's Tribeca neighbourhood following the 9/11 terrorist attack.
The 2011 event - presented by founding sponsor American Express - will run from April 20 to May 1. The 60 shorts represent 21 countries, including the UK, and feature stars from around the globe.
In a new development this year, the recipient of the Tff Best Narrative Short award will qualify for consideration in the Short Films category of the Oscars without the standard theatrical run, provided the film otherwise complies with Academy rules.
The short film program, drawn from 2,862 submissions, will be presented in eight thematic programs, which are detailed below.
There is a broad spectrum of styles and storytelling, from zombies taking over Manhattan to the humanitarian effort in Haiti.
