The Pogues will be setting sail on their next adventure in Outer Banks Season 4, but the chill, consequence-free life they once knew is no more. Despite an 18-month time jump, John B (Chase Stokes) and Sarah (Madelyn Cline) will still be dealing with the fallout of the Season 3 finale in Season 4. “Anytime you experience loss, it hits in spaces and in places that you don’t anticipate,” Stokes tells People. “Being in the situation that John B and Sarah are in, it really will force them to evaluate everything. Where they are, what their purpose is, what their intentions are, and what was the actual value of it? Was it worth it, in hindsight? If they could go back and change things, would they? Or do they feel okay with it?” Sarah and John B lost their fathers on the same day and had to watch them die in front of their eyes.

The 2001 cult classic horror remake "Thirteen Ghosts" has a dedicated following for a reason: it's a brutally nasty, deeply creative horror film that creates its own unique mythology and utilizes it to tell a surprisingly heartfelt story. The movie follows bereaved widower Arthur Kriticos (Tony Shalhoub) and his family after he inherits a mysterious mansion from his ghost hunter uncle Cyrus (F. Murray Abraham). Unfortunately for Arthur, the mansion is absolutely murderous.
The end of the film pulls each of the 12 ghosts trapped within the mansion together for a bizarre ritual to make Cyrus immortal that requires the titular thirteenth ghost to work -- but things don't go as planned for crafty ole' Cyrus and he's torn apart by the very souls he was going to sacrifice. It's seriously satisfying, especially after the full cruelty of Cyrus' plan is revealed in the third act and the audience realizes why he...

The new film Herd by Steven Pierce is a messy zombie thriller that tries too hard to be too focused on the human elements in its storytelling. Written alongside James Allerdyce, Pierce has failed to give the film a consistent vision. At one point, the story revolves purely around the lesbian couple Jamie and Alex. The segment dragged on, and then suddenly the zombie plot resumed. There is also a pseudo-dystopian drama in the middle of it all, and there are moments between characters that seem too random to be appreciated, even though they may have been acted well. The story begins with Jamie and Alex going out canoeing with the motive of mending their broken relationship. Things go south, and the couple is forced to seek help from the locals, who have their own idea of dealing with the ‘Heps’.

Spoiler alert: The following discusses major plot points from “Outer Banks” Season 3.
As “Outer Banks” Season 3 takes the Pogues back to where the sprawling treasure hunt first started, the whirlwind romance that Sarah (Madelyn Cline) and John B (Chase Stokes) embraced as they carved out their new home in Poguelandia is brutally interrupted when the teens, now married, are forced to confront their own familial ties — including the surprise return of John B’s father, Big John (Charles Halford).
Guided by an instinct to follow the bells, whose rhythm remind him of his father’s previous calling card, John B misses out on the Pogues life-or-death escape from Barbados — as Sarah gives the crew the heart-wrenching Ok to leave him behind when their boat sets sail back to the Outer Banks.
As John B prioritizes the seasons-spanning search for his father, Sarah returns to Kitty Hawk with her family life in shambles.

Outer Banks is a Netflix series created by Shannon Burke, Jonas Pate and Josh Pate starring Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline and Jonathan Daviss.
This series about rich and poor is back, this has been a great success for Netflix and now the story is renewed after two seasons full of adventures, romances… and lots of beautiful people too.
If you haven´t seen it yet… you are in for a great time, not much room for reflection, this is an adventure about young people specially created for them. Full of adventures, mysteries and tensions in characters that fight to change if not the world, their small islands of inequities they have been born in.
A very Goonies style entertaiment, sure, but this is really fun and addictive.
To be enjoyed!

The first few seasons of “Outer Banks” were dumb fun — but is the amusement wearing thin? The start of Season 3 appears to suspect the viewer is as foolish as the Pogues, the pack of adventurous adolescent have-nots in the posh North Carolina beach community of the show’s title. Another season arrives with yet another elusive “Outer Banks” treasure hunt. Are we greyhounds chasing a mechanical Netflix rabbit, never to reach fruition?
When we last left the Pogues, the five-pack had improbably skirted death yet again by jumping off a freighter that was carrying Pope’s (Jonathan Daviss) priceless inheritance of a giant jeweled cross, as well as Sarah (Madelyn Cline)’s murderous family members, controlling dad Wade (Charles Esten) and sociopathic brother Rafe (Drew Starkey).
Naturally, the eternal summer teens all landed on an idyllic deserted island, left to survive on fruit, fish and fun, aided by new Pogue...

The cast of Outer Banks might have just debunked a viral fan theory ahead of season 3. Many fans of the Netflix teen drama have heard of the shroud theory, which suggests that the Cross of Santo Domingo‘s healing shroud has been with a Pogue all along. In a recent interview, the stars of Outer Banks called out the shroud theory as the “wildest” one they’ve heard and poked fun at how unbelievable it was.
Chase Stokes as John B. wearing the ‘shroud’ in ‘Outer Banks’ | Netflix What is the John B. shroud theory?
In season 2, Carla Limbrey (Elizabeth Mitchell) set out to find the Cross of Santo Domingo, which allegedly contained a mythical healing shroud that could cure her deadly illness. However, when she eventually got her hands on the cross, the cloth was nowhere to be found inside, presumably eaten by moths. According to Big John Routledge (Charles Halford), though,...

The Pogues are back.
On Thursday evening, the cast and crew of Outer Banks gathered at Westwood’s Regency Village Theater for the show’s season three premiere. This season, the Pogues face yet another dangerous treasure hunt, and after spending the last two seasons looking for the lost Royal Merchant gold and the Cross of Santo Domingo, this season’s focus will be on El Dorado, the lost city of gold.
“It’s very overwhelming and so exciting,” Drew Starkey, who plays Rafe, told The Hollywood Reporter about reuniting with the cast for the premiere. “I’m shaking. It’s always great to get some familiar faces back together, and seeing everyone here is very humbling.”
“Chemistry is something that you can find, but to continue to facilitate and to nurture it is another thing, and I feel like this cast does that really well,” added Madelyn Cline, who plays Sarah Cameron.

If there’s one thing Outer Banks fans love to do, it’s making predictions. There are dozens of theories about the characters and what could happen in Outer Banks Season 3. Some theories, like Big John Routledge’s (Charles Halford) return actually being a flashback, have already been debunked by the new season’s trailers. However, others could still be proven true. Here are some of our favorite Outer Banks fan theories and predictions as we wait for season 3.

Outer Banks Season 3 is shaping up to be full of surprises. There are already hints of something we never thought would happen: A Pogue and Kook team-up. Netflix recently shared a new batch of images from Outer Banks Season 3, and one photo shows Kiara (Madison Bailey) and Rafe (Drew Starkey) possibly cooking up an escape plan. This has caused many fans to speculate on what’s happening and whether Rafe will have a redemption arc in the new episodes. Here’s what to know.

Welcome to Poguelandia! After a long - long - wait, Netflix has finally unveiled the full trailer for "Outer Banks" season three. In the show's first teaser, which the streamer released on Sept. 24, 2022, as part of its Tudum fan event, it appears the teens are making the most out of being stranded on a (hopefully) deserted island.
In the clip, the Pogues are living the good life, jumping into the ocean from tall cliffs and goofing around like they don't have a care in the world. But things are never that easy for the beleaguered North Carolina teens, and trouble is lurking ahead in the form of Ward (Charles Esten), Rafe (Drew Starkey), and Carla (Elizabeth Mitchell). "Nothing good comes easy, nothing worthy is given," John B (Chase Stokes) says in the teaser. "What are you willing to do to win? How far do you go to keep your treasure?...

The season three trailer for Netflix’s sun-kissed drama Outer Banks finds its main crew members celebrating what little wins they can get while trouble rests on the horizon. As they settle into the Caribbean island they stumbled across after washing ashore, the Pogues come to the realization that they can run from their past, but they can’t hide – even in the most desolate of locations.
“For my father and me, the treasure was out way out,” John B (Chase Stokes) says in the trailer. “How we evened the scales.

Will the Pogues ever catch a break?
Our favorite characters were happily lost at the end of Outer Banks Season 2.
They were ready to live out the rest of their days in a corner of the world, well away from everyone else.
But this is TV, and there has to be drama.
Netflix unveiled a wild first look at Outer Banks Season 3 on Thursday, and we think it's fair to say this will be the most dramatic season yet.
One of the most significant moments showcases John B with his presumed-dead dad, Big John.
That will be a huge moment, for sure, but in true Outer Banks fashion, there are far more pressing things on the agenda.
We also see the Pogues in the city of El Dorado, but what takes them there?
The trailer doesn't give that much away, but we have to assume treasure will be the driving force here.

Outer Banks' John B. Reunites With [Spoiler], Kiara and JJ Get Cozy in Full Season 3 Trailer — Watch
Outer Banks‘ John B. and friends have kept pretty busy since we last saw them. (Because, c’mon, Poguelandia wasn’t going to found itself!) But as the new Season 3 trailer can attest, soon their attention will be less focused on chilling on a deserted island and more concerned with finding gold (again) and running for their lives.
Netflix on Thursday released a full trailer for the upcoming season, all 10 episodes of which will be available to stream on Thursday, Feb. 23. And a lot happens in the two-minute preview! The Pogues wind up on a journey to the legendary city of El Dorado.

The Pogues just can’t manage to stay out of trouble, as seen in the first trailer for Outer Banks season three.
The Netflix drama series’ upcoming third season, debuting Feb. 23, involves the underdog clique discovering that a peaceful life on their newfound desert paradise, nicknamed “Poguelandia,” won’t last long. With a coveted golden idol putting them back on the treasure hunt, the pals find themselves again on the run from Ward (Charles Esten) and Rafe (Drew Starkey), although the nefarious father-son pair seem to have friction of their own.

In a brand new teaser trailer that just dropped, the Pogues are back in town for Season 3 of “Outer Banks.” But, they have a different home base this time — Poguelandia.
John B, Sarah, Kiara, JJ and Pope enjoy their self-titled paradise alongside newcomer Cleo, who bonded with the group during their most recent voyage to Nassau. While the crew seems to be stranded on a deserted island, they certainly make the most out of their solitude by playing handmade checkers, enjoying tropical fruit and even putting up a flag to mark their Poguelandia community.
It’s not all woven hats and sunbathing, though, as the crew must learn to hunt for food and escape predators before returning to pick back up their heavily fought treasure hunt on the mainland.

“Day Shift” is a vampire thriller stuffed with lock-and-load ultraviolence, starring Jamie Foxx in imperious badass mode. At heart, though, it’s a knowingly eccentric goof of a movie, to the point that it’s hard, for a while, not to find it agreeable, even as you register what a preposterous piece of fluff it is. Unfortunately, it’s also an arduous piece of fluff. , especially when the rules are applied as inconsistently as they are here. Directed by J.J. Perry, “Day Shift” wants to be a dessert drenched in blood. That gives it flavor but also weighs it down.
Foxx plays Bud Jablonski, a Los Angeles vampire hunter whose day job is driving around in an ancient pick-up truck to clean and service swimming pools in the San Fernando Valley. Bud’s one and only goal is to get his hands on 10,000, which he needs to pay for the...

Plot: Bud Jablonski (Jamie Foxx) masquerades as a pool cleaner, but in reality, he’s a vampire hunter struggling to make ends meet in a competitive job market. Thrown out of the vampire killing union due to his attitude, he’s given one last shot to rejoin them but must impress a nerdy union rep (Dave Franco) with no vamp hunting experience. Meanwhile, an ancient vampire (Karla Souza) plots to turn the San Fernando Valley into a Mecca for the undead but harbours a deadly grudge against Jablonski and wants him and his family dead.
Review: Day Shift is a lot less ambitious than some of Netflix’s other, bigger-budget would-be franchise starters. Here’s the thing – if they’ve put out anything this year that legitimately feels like it has the chance to be a franchise, this is it. A man pulls up to a quiet house in the San Fernando Valley and heads toward a littered pool. He begins to clean, using a net to grab empty beer bottles and a drowned possum. Then, without prompting, he enters the seemingly empty house. He surveys the area, and out of thin air, an old woman appears. The man shoots her in the heart, initiating a fiery battle. She is a vampire. He is a hunter.
Day Shift, J.J. Perry’s rowdy directorial debut, opens with this twisted, action-packed scene. The man, Bud Jablonski (Jamie Foxx), and the vampire face off in a minutes-long, intricately choreographed fight. They leap from room to room, scale walls, contort their bodies like pretzels, fire guns and, in the case of the vampire, try to get a bite or two in.
The economical introduction levels expectations for this breezy popcorn entertainment.

It's not easy being a vampire hunter. Bud Jablonski (Jamie Foxx) drives around in a run-down truck posing as a pool cleaner — but that's all a front for his battle against the blood-sucking undead. Yes, in "Day Shift," the new Netflix horror-comedy from director J. J. Perry, vampires are very real, and apparently all over Los Angeles — although only a select few know the truth. Bud is quite skilled at killing vamps, as we see in a brutal, bloody, funny opening scene in which he tussles with an elderly nosferatu who may look like a sweet old lady, but is in fact an acrobatic ass-kicker from beyond the grave.
Bud doesn't do what he does out of some noble pursuit to rid the world of vampires. No, he's just trying to make a living — because there's an entire underground market built up around the world of vampires and vampire hunters.

Netflix has dropped the new trailer for Day Shift, streaming August 12.
Jamie Foxx stars as a hard working blue collar dad who just wants to provide a good life for his quick-witted daughter, but his mundane San Fernando Valley pool cleaning job is a front for his real source of income, hunting and killing vampires as part of an international Union of vampire hunters.
Plus catch a behind-the-scenes look at the movie.
Want to see more of Foxx on the streaming channel? It was announced last week that Jamie Foxx And Cameron Diaz will headline Netflix’s upcoming film Back In Action. No details on the comedy movie as of yet, but Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses) is directing and production begins later this year.
Cameron I hope you aren’t mad I recorded this, but no turning back now. Had to call in the Goat to bring back another Goat.

Jamie Foxx and Snoop Dogg cleaning up the Lbc? We’d raise a gin and juice to that.
Upcoming Netflix action-comedy “Day Shift” stars Foxx as Bud Jablonski, a father trying to navigate the rising cost of living in Los Angeles by taking on a job as a vampire exterminator. Dogg plays Bud’s friend Big John Elliott who is trying to lure Army vet Bud back to the slayers union. Megan Good and Zion Boadnax also star as Bud’s wife and daughter.
Karla Souza plays a powerful bloodsucker known as Audrey San Fernando, the valley’s most powerful real estate agent who is pushing the surrounding communities to gentrify aka become home to vampires only. Dave Franco stars as a union rep for vampire hunters.
“Day Shift” marks stunt coordinator J.J. Perry’s directorial debut, teaming up again with Foxx after working together on “Django Unchained” among other projects.
