- He's part of cinematic history, playing Daud, one of two young Arabs who assist Peter O'Toole's Lawrence of Arabia in his trek across the Nefud Desert. The particularly classic scene involving Daud's character is when Lawrence returns from rescuing a lost Arab, and in a David Lean wide shot, two camels... one ridden by Lawrence, the other Daud... rush towards each other.
