Karen Blixen was born on April 17, 1885 in Rungsted, Denmark. She was a writer, known for Out of Africa (1985), Babette's Feast (1987) and The Heroine (1967). She was married to Bror Frederik von Blixen-Finecke. She died on September 7, 1962 in Rungsted, Denmark.
