HollywoodNews.com: This year Glee did an entire episode of Madonna songs, and a mega mash-up of Journey music. Next year, they have an episode devoted to Beyonce, and a yet to be determined tribute show to air after the Superbowl.
“We like to do those but this year we’re going to do two of them, the Britney Spears one in an unusual way,” series creator Ryan Murphy said at the Television Critics Association fall press tour. “On a red carpet once, someone asked if we were doing it and Matt Morrison said, ‘I hope not.’ The whole episode is him saying, ‘No, we’re not doing Britney Spears.’ We’re going to do one after the Super Bowl, a tribute to a musical artist we’re in negotiation for. I think every year we’ll do two or three.”
Then, they’re even going to do some original music!

The Twitter Report feed's U.K. contingent took notice of British Prime Minister Gordon Brown's much-publicized microphone slip-up today. Both Edgar Wright and Simon Spurrier chimed in with thoughts on Brown's use of the term "bigoted" in reference to a voter after he thought his TV mic was turned off.
As far as the comics and entertainment scene goes, tweets were just as lively there. It turns out that Kurt Busiek has a personal connection to "Glee" few people knew about, Jim Mahfood's artwork may be appearing on an upcoming episode of "Weeds," and Matt Fraction and Kelly Sue DeConnick are proud parents for a second time. Find out what Brian Michael Bendis brought them and what Christopher Yost has been working on for Marvel after the jump.
It's all in the Twitter Report for April 28, 2010.
@JimMahfood Just gave a bunch of my art to the producers at "Weeds" for a future episode.

Open on McKinley High School's teacher's lounge, where the faculty busies themselves with primping and styling. The reason everyone is getting gussied up, Will Schuester learns as he joins Emma and Ken at their table, is that today's the first day of yearbook photos. Will must have neglected to read this week's school paper. He also missed the Save the Date for Emma and Ken's wedding, which is now just a week from Saturday, the same day as sectionals. Emma is apologetic, but as the local Vfw has replaced Hawaii as the setting for their special day, down payments are hard to cancel. Sue Sylvester then enters sporting two black eyes and a slightly higher brow line. Yearbook photos are such a special time for her and the Cheerios that she can barely contain her excitement (probably because her brows no longer lower). The same can't be said for Will,...
