Elfie Fay
Edit
Her first big hit was singing "The Belle of Avenue A" in the play "Mamselle Awkins".
Musical Comedy Actress.
Daughter of Hugh Fay of the vaudeville comedy team Barry and Fay.
A vivacious red-head whose ad-libbing on opening nights helped propel her from the ranks of showgirls to that of a solo performer.
Elfie was buried near her brother Hugh Fay (who died in 1926) in an unmarked grave at Grand View Memorial Park in Glendale, California.
