- Jean Ferniot was born on October 10, 1918 in Paris, France. He was a producer and writer, known for Du soleil plein les yeux (1970), La vie et la passion de Dodin-Bouffant (1972) and 1947: La première crise de la IVº république (1980). He died on July 21, 2012 in Paris, Ile-de-France, France.
- Journalist, author of about 30 books of which L'ombre portée" which won the Prix Interallié in 1961. He was a member of that jury of journalists who give a prize to the best novel written by a journalist since 1970. He was editor of L'express and a restaurant critic also.
