- She was actress/manager at Rio de Janeiro's huge Phoenix Theatre in a season of Brazilian, foreign, classical and modern plays when the people making Derek N. Twist's The End of the River (1947) came to town and decided she would be perfect for the female lead role (Teresa).
- Besides Portuguese, she is fluent in French, Italian, English, Spanish and German.
- She plays piano and guitar, anything from Brazilian sambas and Caribbean rumbas to classical concertos and she has a lovely singing voice.
- She was a ballerina in the Brazillian Opera House in Rio. At age 19 she joined her father's theater company at the Teatro Serrado, in Rio de Janeiro.
- She directed the play "Qualquer gato vira-lata tem uma vida sexual mais sadia que a nossa" in São Paulo. (April 2004)
