Over the years, director Guillermo del Toro has been attached to several projects that never saw the light of day. A lot of these projects came and went and the fans have been excited about a lot of them.
Del Toro recently took to Twitter to share a list of all of the completed unproduced screenplays that he worked on and shared his feelings on how these scripts represent more than a decade of work that he put into developing them and how all of that work is now lost.
It’s actually pretty sad to see all of these exciting projects currently dead or in limbo. Of course, this is just a fraction of the kinds of film projects that have been lost in Hollywood over the years. Every filmmaker has projects they wanted to make that never got the greenlight.
Check out Del Toro’s tweets below:

Hammer made a nice little comeback last year with The Woman in Black. While I wasn’t the hugest fan of the film, I dug the atmosphere it brought to audiences. It also felt like British Horror, something I admired even more. Hammer has created six audio dramas that vary from 30 to 45 minutes each and will be released in a digipack later this week. If you order the digipack, you will get the audio files immediately. You can also buy the tracks individually if you want to give one of them a listen. Between this and Tales from Beyond the Pale, it’s nice to see horror audio making a comeback. We have included toggles below which include synopses & links below.

The spirit of Hammer Film Productions is all set to rise screaming from the grave in new book Hell Train.
Author Christopher Fowler has crafted a creepy new tale set in the glory (or should that be gory?) days of the legendary studio that staked its claim to British horror cinema.
Fowler, whose company designed the iconic Trainspotting and Reservoir Dogs film posters, is also known for creating some of the most memorable taglines in movie history - including Alien's "In space, no-one can hear you scream."
In his first book for Solaris, the multi-award winning author of the Bryant & May mysteries conjures up bizarre creatures, satanic rites, terrified passengers and the romance of train travel, all in a classically-styled horror novel that aims to evoke the dark demons of Hammer Horror at its height.
The story sees American screenwriter Shane Carter asked to revive the classic studio's fortunes. Inspired by an old board game,...

Editor: Stephen Jones.
Writers: Peter Atkins, Peter Crowther, Paul Finch, Christopher Fowler, Tim Lebbon, Paul McAuley, Kim Newman, John Llewellyn Probert, Mark Samuels, Pat Cadigan, Scott Edelman, Jo Fletcher, Robert hood, Tanith Lee, Lisa Morton, Sarah Pinborough, Jay Russell, Mandy Slater, and Michael Marshall Smith.
There seems to be a massive resurgence in everything zombie, or zombie-like nowadays. From books such as Craig Dilouie's The Infection, to film e.g. World War Z and even in digital games like "Dead Island," there is no shortage of undead material to get your rotten hands onto. Therefore, the zombie literature genre is a competitive market, one where the creme (cream) thankfully shambles to the top. This is the case with Stephen Jones' version of the coming zombocalypse. Released in paperback form December 7th, Zombie Apocalypse unites several horror fiction writers to believably tell tales of the undead. In no time, London falls,...

You don't often see movie dentists who are regular guys. When they're not psychos, they're played for laughs
There's a gag in Jackass 3D called "Lamborghini tooth pull" and I think we all know what that means. For all the scatological tomfoolery and "Ow, my balls!" genital mistreatment on view, I bet this is the stunt that will make us wince the most, particularly as the film opens the same week the Daily Mail has reported that increasing numbers of people are trying to avoid exorbitant dental fees by pulling their own teeth out.
If you don't have a Lamborghini, you could always try the ice-skate option, like Tom Hanks in Cast Away. Or you could splice your genes with those of a housefly, like Jeff Goldblum in The Fly, who subsequently finds it easy to extract a tooth using just his fingers. Or, if you were really desperate, you...

The horror lit community wants to change the game. Every genre needs to be shaken up sometimes. Especially one that prides itself on edginess, the way that horror does. With that in mind, two noted figures in the horror literary community have issued a manifesto. Blogger Maura McHugh (Splinister) and acclaimed author Christopher Fowler (pictured above, whose short stories have been adapted into films like Through the Eyes of a Killer and On Edge) have begun what they're calling the "Campaign for Real Fear", and they're inviting horror writers everywhere to take part by submitting 500-word examples of cutting-edge terror. Get the details, and find out how you can join their campaign after the...
