- With a strong, diversified international background, Enock Freire has worked in a variety of formats in Film & Television. He presently works as Associate Producer for Pray for Rain Pictures Inc. Since he's been with the company, Mr. Freire has managed the production of the feature film Beyond Paradise and co-produced a number of documentary projects, including the nationally broadcast documentary The Dream Center: Hope for the Inner City with Edward James Olmos. During the post-production and distribution phases of Beyond Paradise, Mr. Freire also managed all publicity and public relations efforts for this motion picture, taking it to 3 major film festivals. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Broadcast Media, he has worked for ABC News Nightline and has also produced several independent projects for Globo Broadcasting Network. Born in Brazil and raised in Hawaii, Mr. Freire began his career as a news producer, also working on educational shows and documentaries for television. Later he became involved in commercial production, and is currently an independent feature filmmaker. As a marathon runner himself, Mr. Freire has produced several Hawaii Ironman and Ultraman Triathlon specials for television, one of which received the "Best Sports Feature" Broadcast Award in Brazil.
