- Ricardo Jacques Galé was born in Havana, Cuba.
He began his career as a production assistant in Miami, before moving to Los Angeles to attend USC Film School. Ricardo worked as a Film Lab technician, Key Grip, Gaffer and flew a Steadicam for 10 years.
Roger Corman gave Ricardo his first opportunity as a Cinematographer. Ricardo has shot in Beirut, Greece, Macedonia, Kenya, Norway, Panama, Belize, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil and the Philippines. He also speaks fluent Spanish.
