Jeff Brazier has admitted that he is "in for a shock" when he begins skating again on the Dancing On Ice tour. The TV presenter will fill in for Vanilla Ice on five dates in Newcastle and Birmingham. However, Brazier - who came fifth in the series - said that he is "looking forward" to being reunited with the show's cast. Speaking about rehearsals with his partner Isabelle Gauthier, he wrote in his MSN Blog: "We have skated twice in the last three weeks since the show and it's fair to say what took us six months to learn can be forgotten in six weeks so I think I'm in for a shock when I get to Sheffield and skate intensively every day again! "I'm looking forward to going hard on my body again though because I've lost a bit (more)...

Jeff Brazier on ITV's Dancing On Ice
Jeff Brazier and Isabelle Gauthier had a tough job on tonight’s Dancing On Ice live show.
As the TV presenter rehearsed with his props, a table and two chairs, Jayne Torvill admitted that Jeff looked like a ‘deer in the headlights,’ and it was easy to see that he struggled with the extra element to his routine.
He was asked to be the first male celebrity to take on a float spin (using a chair) as part of his performance, and if he didn’t pull it off Isabelle stood the chance of smashing her beautifully sculpted face of the hard ice….not a nice thought!
The pair skated to We Can Work It Out (performed by The Overtones) this evening and Jeff started out strong. He and Isabelle were perfectly in sync during their table work although he was a little...

Dancing On Ice takes a new twist tonight, as each of the remaining celebrities are asked to incorporate some props into their routines.
In previous years, stars have been required to skate with one item – last year’s show winner Hayley Tamaddon and her partner Daniel Whiston used an umbrella – however tonight the contestants will be performing with two to three props.
Hayley Tamaddon revealed on This Morning that some of the stars are struggling to keep the level of their skating up, while trying to use items like tables, chairs, canes and hats. She also revealed that Sam Attwater and Brianne Delcourt are hoping to pull off a brand new and very adventurous lift as part of their performance.
On tonight’s live show, former front runners Sam and Brianne will take to the rink with a stool, a trilby hat and a microphone stand.

Jeff Brazier on ITV's Dancing On Ice
Jeff Brazier has admitted that he loves the new physique he has achieved during his time on Dancing On Ice.
The dad of two – who has two sons Bobby, seven and Freddie, six, with the late Big Brother star Jade Goody – said that rehearsing on the ice rink has improved the look of his bums and his legs.
He said: “I’m in the best physical condition I’ve ever been. Last time I was anywhere near this fit was when I was 22 and a professional footballer. But I didn’t have the upper body so I’m enjoying having a big chest for the first time in my life.
“I’ve got a completely different shape. My legs are solid and my bum’s got peachier but what I’ve lost in weight I’ve probably put on in muscle. I’m still around 13 stone.

The children’s TV presenter – who will perform once more on the ITV1 show tomorrow alongside professional skater Colin Ratushniak – admitted a recent string of good performances have not boosted her confidence and she still worries about the public vote.
Laura explained to Scotland’s Daily Record: “When you’ve been in the bottom two twice, like we have, every week is a bonus because you don’t know how long you’ll be on the show.
“Two weeks ago, we were second on the leaderboard but ended up in the bottom two. This show is like a rollercoaster – you don’t know what’s going to happen from week to week.

Jeff Brazier has reportedly hurt his neck during Dancing On Ice rehearsals.
The TV presenter was attempting a difficult lift with his Canadian skating partner Isabelle Gauthier when he strained his neck muscles and ended up in agony.
Insiders are worried that he may not be able to complete his routine on tomorrow’s live show and have planned for him to receive strong painkilling injections before his performance.
An insider told The Sun:
“Jeff Brazier suffered a serious neck injury which he picked up from one of his lifts that went wrong in training. He could hardly move the next day and had to have an osteopath sent over for treatment.

He explained: “I’m not a natural performer. I don’t think I actually spoke until I was 13 and was always really shy. I’m confident but not too confident.

Jeff Brazier on ITV's Dancing On Ice
Jeff Brazier was given some extra performance coaching during this week’s Dancing On Ice rehearsals.
The TV presenter had found himself in the bottom two last week and coaches believed that he needed to sell his routines more, if he wants to stay in the competition.
Skating with his professional partner Isabelle Gauthier, Jeff performed to Tom Jones’ It’s Not Unusual this evening. He definitely looked more confident and some of his lifts were very impressive. Brazier coped well with the independent step sequences and though he often lacked speed on the rink, we think there was a definite improvement in Jeff’s skills tonight.
Judges Comments:
Jason: 5.5 I am definitely noticing an improvement in your skating and partnering. Overall the step sequence was solid, you’re doing much better now.
Robin: 7.5 Quality basic skills used absolutely in right way at the right time.
