Rebel Wilson, "Bridesmaids" other scene-stealer (besides Oscar nominee Melissa McCarthy), has sold a comedy to CBS.
According to EW, Wilson will star in "Super Fun Night," a multi-camera comedy about three nerdy friends who go on a quest to have an epic night every Friday night. The Australian actress will write and co-executive produce the pilot and Conan O'Brien is on board as a producer.
McCarthy, who currently stars in CBS's "Mike and Molly," sold two comedy projects to the network to the network as well. According to The Hollywood Reporter, one comedy follows a woman in her forties who has a midlife crisis, the other is centered on David Gell, a 37-year-old man who still lives at home.

In a last-minute buy, CBS has picked up a comedy spec produced by one of its stars, Mike & Molly leading lady Melissa McCarthy. The untitled comedy was written by McCarthy’s husband, actor-writer Ben Falcone and fellow actor Larry Dorf through Warner Bros. TV, the studio behind Mike & Molly. It centers on David Gell, who learns that there’s no place like home…unless home is your parents’ house and you’re 37 years old. McCarthy will co-executive produce, with Falcone and Dorf serving as supervising producers. The project will be in contention for this pickup cycle, along with another comedy McCarthy and Falcone have at CBS and Wbtv about a woman in her mid-40s who has a spectacular midlife crisis. CBS is moving in with Melissa McCarthy … again. The Mike & Molly network has bought an untitled half-hour comedy script from Larry Dorf (MadTV) and McCarthy’s husband and Bridesmaids co-star Ben Falcone. The project, which hails from Warner Bros.
